Poka Ribs Native Kitchen and Lounge is an upscale restuarant and lounge located in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.

Job Title: Administrative Officer

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • The role of the Administrative Officer is to perform general administrative duties; being a point of contact for between the Company and its stake holders: ensuring that all administrative activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and implement the Company's policies and regulations to staffs, recommending new ones if deemed necessary.
  • Supervise and actively engage with Administrative team within function to share best practices, cascade communications and develop open communication paths Company wide.
  • Provide administrative support with special projects or phases of special projects as assigned by Management.
  • Plan and organize department meetings and support set-up of inclusive meeting practices, collecting data or reports or materials for meetings, events etc.
  • Perform all the clerical tasks such as taking minutes, writing progress reports, maintaining records and managing all schedules.
  • Oversee the management of staff; orientation, attendance, leave administration, performance assessments and general staff matters.
  • Help mold organizational culture by ensuring all staff know right and do right all the time.
  • Organize and maintain a filing system for important and confidential Company documents and correspondence.
  • Draft correspondence, recommendations, reports, and memoranda as may be instructed.
  • Perform other miscellaneous office, administrative, and sales support tasks as needed or directed.

Requirements and Skills

  • A minimum of HND / B.Sc Certificate in Administration, Social Sciences or related course.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Administrative and/or Human Resources Experience. Demonstrable experience in a Food, Hospitality or related organization will be an added advantage.
  • Solid and demonstrable knowledge of office procedures.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision, meet deadlines, and ensure timely submission of updates and reports.
  • Experience with office management software like MS Office.
  • Good presentation skills, management skills, and interpersonal communication skills leading to seamless inter and intra organizational efficiency.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, coordinate meetings with efficiency at the same time.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills. willing to contribute innovative ideas in brain storming sessions.
  • Exceptional organizational and clear and concise oral/written communication skills that clearly leverages positive outcomes with partners and customers.

Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 monthly
