Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly qualified Health, Safety, and Environment Officer to join our team. As an HSE Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the protection of the environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Providing HSE training and awareness programs.
  • Investigating incidents and accidents and recommending preventive measures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in an industrial catering firm.
  • Experience working offshore is an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP) are preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to work in offshore environments is a plus.

Salary

  • N200,000 monthly.
