Maventeq Systems Limited - Our client, a multinational Oil and Gas company in Nigeria, is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Secretary / Personal Assistant to MD & Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Responsibilities 

  • Prepares letters, reports and memos
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages and respond to inquiries
  • Schedule appointments, maintain calendar, leave schedules
  • Responsible for organising and managing complex travel and accommodation arrangements for the GM
  • Manages requisition of standard goods and stationery for the office
  • Responsible for interfacing with all the four (4) division in the COS Directorate
  • Provides Information System & Telecoms (IST) support for in and outbound personnel, IT supplies etc
  • Make reservations for meetings
  • Distributes mail
  • Prepares materials for workshops, conferences, meetings, duplicates/collates
  • Maintain files and related records
  • Proofread and edits letters
  • Provide secretarial support to visiting SLT members and other Management staff
  • Orders, distributes, and keeps an inventory of supplies
  • Upload letters in DMEP
  • Ensure the timely preparation and transmittal of responses to correspondences for the Government Relations Department
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • Bachelor's / HND Degree in Management Secretary, Humanities, or related discipline
  • 7 years of post-graduate experience in relevant functions preferably secretarial experience
  • Good analytical and report writing skills, excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Professional Skills:

  • Knowledge and Experience of Relevant Software Applications - Spreadsheets, Word Processing, And Database Management
  • Proven Experience in Information and Communication Management
  • Knowledge of Administrative and Clerical Procedures
  • Knowledge of Business Principles
  • Proficient in Spelling, Punctuation, Grammar, and Other English Language Skills
  • Proven Experience of Producing Correspondence and Documents
