1.0 Academic Staff Positions
1.01 Qualifications And Experience Required
Lecturer Cadre
i) Senior Lecturer
A candidate for this post must possess any of the following qualifications and experience:
- A Ph. D degree in relevant field(s) from a recognized institution plus a minimum of 9 years of teaching and research in institution(s) of higher learning; or
- A Master's degree or equivalent post-graduate qualification in relevant field(s) from a recognized institution plus a minimum of 12 years of teaching and research in institution(s) of higher learning.
- In addition to either of the above requirements, the candidate must show demonstrable ability to initiate, develop and supervise applied research/exhibition/industrial production. Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and textbooks as well as academic leadership qualities are also essential.
ii) Lecturer I
A candidate for this post must be a holder of either a Ph. D degree in relevant field(s) with 3 years experience or a relevant Master's degree with 6 years experience or a Bachelor's degree with at least 2"d Class Lower Division, with 9 years experience of teaching research in an institution of higher learning and industrial experience.
iii) Lecturer II
A candidate for this post must be a holder of either a Master's degree in the relevant field(s) with 3 years of teaching experience or a relevant Bachelor's degree (not below second class) with 6 years experience in teaching, research and industrial production. In addition, the candidate should have evidence of seminar / conference papers as well as an article published in ajournal.
iv) Technologist II
A candidate for this post must be a holder of either a good Higher National Diploma in relevant field from a recognized institution with NYSC discharge/exemption certificate plus a minimum of 2 years working experience.
v) Veterinary Doctor
A candidate for this post must be a holder of a Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution of higher learning plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
vi) Assistant Lecturer
A candidate for this post must hold a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field(s) (not below second class) from a recognized University or Polytechnic plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
vii) Lecturer III
A candidate for this post must be a holder of either a relevant Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (s) (not below second class lower division) with 3 years experience of teaching in a post secondary institution plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
1.02 Qualifications and Experience Required for Librarian/Library
Officer Cadre
i) Librarian I
A candidate for this post must be a holder of either a Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) with 3 years cognate experience or a Bachelor's degree in Library Science (not below second class) with 6 years cognate experience, research and industrial production. In addition, the candidate should have evidence of seminar/conference papers as well as an article published in a journal.
ii) Librarian II
A candidate for this post must hold a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field(s) (not below second class) from a recognized institution plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
iii) Library Officer
A candidate for this post should be a holder of a National Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent with at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience.
Iv) Assistant Library Officer
A candidate for this post should be a holder of a National Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent.
2.0 Administrative Positions
2.01 Qualifications and Experience Required
i) Senior Accountant
A candidate for this post should be a holder of good honours degree in Accountancy from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent, professional Accountancy qualification(s) plus at least 6 years post-qualification cognate experience and must possess ANAN or ICAN Certificate.
ii) Accountant I
A candidate for this post should be a holder of a good honours degree in Accountancy from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent, professional Accountancy qualification(s) plus at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience and must possess ANAN or ICAN Certificate.
iii) Accountant II/HEO
A candidate for this post should be a holder of a good honours degree or Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent plus NYSC discharge/exemption certificate. Professional Accountancy qualification will be an added advantage.
iv) Executive Officer
A candidate for this post should be a holder of a National Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent with at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience.
vi) Assistant Executive Officer
A candidate for this post should be a holder of a National Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent.
vii) Registered Nurse
A candidate for this post should be a holder of both N.R.N. and N. R. M. or a holder a good National Diploma in nursing from a recognized institution of higher learning.
viii) Technician
A candidate for this post should be a holder of National Diploma in relevant field from a recognized institution of higher learning or equivalent with- at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience.
3.0 Method of Application
3.01 Application forms are obtainable from the Establishment Division of the Polytechnic, on payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) non-refundable fee.
3.02 Photocopies of all credentials listed in the application form including NYSC discharge/exemption Certificates must be attached to the application and submitted in 12 copies not later than six weeks from the date of this publication to:

3.03 Three sealed referee reports must reach the address above before the expiration date.
