Job Description

• Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of security infrastructure and services.
• Source for potential clients.
• Maintain the patronage of existing clients.
• Confer with potential customers regarding company products and services.
• Prepare proposals for potential clients.
• Generate clientele database for company sales department.

• Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase company products and services.
• Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to solicit sales for company products and services.
• Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted.
• Answer telephone calls from potential clients who have been solicited through advertisements.
• Telephone or write letters to respond to correspondence from clients or to follow up initial sales contacts.
• Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from clients.
• Obtain clients information such as name, address, and payment method, and enter orders into computers.

• Conduct research on tenders and bids for potential clients from sources such as newspapers, magazines, bulletins, journals and the internet.
• Collate the contacts obtained from the research for initial contact from the company.
• Prepare tenders and/or proposals for potential clients.

• Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations.
• Notify company mechanics of vehicle problems.
• Drive company cars on patrol day or night shifts.
