We are recruiting to fill the below position of:

Job Title: OLT Document Controller

Job Description

  • Be responsible for implementing the procedures and methods to manage the Documentation on the package Projects and offshore in accordance with the user's needs and the TOTAL specifications / tools.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project specific user friendly guide for PRODOM system.
  • Implement, modify and maintain PRODOM system in order to manage all flows of documents either in electronic form or hard copy.
  • Prepare the handover of Documentation to Field Operations and the filing of Project document to archives.
  • Perform constant analysis of Contract produced documentation to check for compliance with Project standards regarding numbering, graphic charts, symbology and all others aspect related to document quality.
  • Monitor and report on Contractor document submissions dates planned / actual and % complete.
  • Provide OLT Project Control Leader with all relevant information required for weekly/monthly project reporting.
  • Close liaison with Contractors Document Controller staff on all matters concerning document control / PRODOM.
  • Provide PRODOM training advice and support to all project staff at all project locations.
  • Prepare and send a weekly documentation report and documents statistics to the OLT project control Leader.
  • Management of technical and correspondence documents during Operations phase.
  • Ensure proper deployment of the Operations PRODOM Database to Onshore and Offshore entities.
  • Organize Technical Support of the PRODOM database to end users.
  • Organize as required training to the end users for the use of PRODOM.
  • with tenderers and/or local authorities, project schedule follow-up. Also ensuring of all project technical correspondences are duly answered.
  • Provide OLT project control leader with all relevant information needed for weekly/monthly package reporting.
  • Maintain and Administrate PRODOM Software.
  • Organize Document Management System (PRODOM) from definition of request to Contractors up to the delivery to Field Operations and archiving.
  • Consolidate and advise Package Manager(s) of any schedule & commercial issues providing the justification through all disciplines of the change. Ensure complete documentation of all changes, and communication of these in compliance with the Total process and the processes agreed with Partners and regulatory authorities.
  • HSEQ responsibilities: Support and enforce the HSEQ Project objectives and directives, Support and implement the Project HSEQ management system (plans, procedures and specifications).
  • Write necessary procedure for an efficient use of PRODOM by the end users.
  • To contribute to the effective review process of engineering, procurement, construction, installation  documentation from the design contractor.
  • To anticipate problems in his field of activity and propose solutions or optimizations to the OLT project Control Leader.
  • Assist the Package Manager at all project phases with reporting, meetings organization and attendance
