Job Title: Licensed Avionics Engineer
Responsibilities
The Avionics Engineer shall be responsible for the following:

  • Working and troubleshooting of Avionics Systems (Instruments, electrics, autopilot and aircraft radio)
  • Be familiar with Garmin 1000 system
  • Assisting in general maintenance of available fleet in the College
  • Any other job assigned by the Chief Engineer/HOD He/She shall report directly to the Chief Engineer.
Qualifications Required
  • NCAA Avionics Engineer Certification with 9.1, 9.2, 8.1, and 8.2 ratings or FAA/EASA Equivalent will also be considered.
  • B. Sc/HND Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • 5 years working experience on the job
  • Must not be more than 45 years old
  • Please be guided that computer literacy is mandatory for all positions.
  • NCAT Diploma
  • Glass Cockpit/G1000 experience is an added advantage
  • Experience on Diamond DA40/DA42 will also be an added advantage
Job Title: Engineering School Instructor
Responsibilities

  • The Engineering School Instructor shall be responsible for developing, maintaining and delivering curricula for Engineering School training in Aircraft Maintenance School, including regulatory and non-regulatory coursework.
  • He/She will also be required to impart knowledge. instruct and assess students on how to utilize an aircraft systems associated with multi-engine aircraft, the interrelationship among these systems, and the capabilities of multi-engine aircraft.
  • The Instructor will also provide assistance to the student pilot in the study and operation of variety of aircraft control systems, e.g. engines, fuel, electrical systems, hydraulics, fire suppression, pressurization etc.
Qualifications Required
  • Applicant must be a holder of B. Eng in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and Current Engineer’s license, A & C or B1 and B2 X-electrical as per current regulations.
  • Necessary type-rating training on College aircraft will be provided by the College.

 Job Title: Ground Instructor
The Ground Instructor shall he responsible for developing, maintaining and delivering curricula for students undergoing ground school training, including regulatory and non regulatory coursework. He/She will also be required to impart knowledge, instruct and assess students in fields including, but not limited to, aircraft power plant, avionics, navigation and aircraft systems.
Necessary type-rating where required on aircraft will be provided by the College. The Ground Instructor shall report directly to the Chief Ground Instructor.

Qualifications Required

  • An FAA/CAA Certified Ground Instructor certificate (AGI), Ground Instructor and Instrument Ground Instructor rating or ICAO equivalent.
  • Airline Transport Pilot License (Theory) + TRAIN - THE - TRAINERS; Course.
  • B.Sc. in Physics or Engineering + TRAIN THE TRAINERS Course + 3 years’ post graduate experience OR ATC License.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and strong computer ability (Windows and Microsoft Suite) will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Ground Instructor Trainee
The Ground Instructor Trainee shall assist the Ground Instructor in developing, maintaining and delivering curricula for students undergoing ground school training, including regulatory and non-regulatory coursework, He/She will also be required to understudy the Ground Instructor while imparting knowledge, instructing and assessing students in fields including, but not limited to, aircraft power plant, avionics, navigation and aircraft systems.
Qualifications Required
The applicant should not be more than 30 years of age.

  • B.Sc/B. Eng. in Physics, Mathematics. Geography or Engineering.
  • Certificate in Education will be an added advantage
  • Please be guided that computer literacy is mandatory for all positions.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
The applicant shall be required to support the continuous improvement and maintenance of the College's quality management system, amongst other duties.
The Quality Assurance Engineer shall report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and should not be less than 30 years of age.
Qualifications Required

  • Applicant must possess an AMEL or B. Eng Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalence.
  • Previous comparable experience of at least three (3) years within aviation maintenance and / or manufacturing preferred.
  • Please be guided that computer literacy is mandatory for all positions.
