Job Title: Head Public Relations, Media & Communication (KRPRM)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop dynamic communications strategies which align local requirements with Group communications objectives
  • Provide a cohesive and comprehensive perspective of the company’s operations to the public
  • Manage and produce high level presentations/speeches for MD/CEO and Executive Management
  • Develop systems and policies for capturing and shoring information about the organizations successes and activities.
  • Develop and communicate company wide business practices and initiatives in consultation with senior/executive management
  • Plan and conduct market and public opinion research to test brand perception Image development and brand management
  • Oversee, develop and drive strategic and multi-tiered platforms of communications to proactively engage internal and external stakeholders. Including media
  • Identify and manage critical issues that have public impact and require the attention of senior officers
  • Lead the development at the company website and maintain the content an the website
  • Interact with senior management to ensure responsive communication with clients
Qualification
  • B.SC. Degree in Public Relations/Media & Communications or other related field
  • High level of organization and project management competence
  • Demonstrated experience in brand and Corporate Image building
  • Advanced competence in the use of publishing software and website management tools
  • Master’s degree and professional certification would be an advantage
  • Minimum 12 years experience with customer relations, corporate planning, public policy, regulatory relations or related
  • Familiar with Nigeria Power Sector
Job Title: Treasurer (KRTR)
Reports to: CFO
Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a treasury policy and framework
  • Develop o hedging policy to cover FX, interest rates, liquidity and other risk factors that may affect the ability of NBET to meet its financial obligations as approved by Board
  • Develop and implement long term foreign exchange strategy, risk management, analysis and reporting
  • Manage balance sheet/financial structure to meet international efficiency norms and company gearing strategy compliance whilst managing Its exposure to guarantees and contracts
  • Raise funds at optimum rates as required by the business from sources available;
  • Manage various activities related to the management of corporate cash, borrowings and investments
  • Create external relationships and networks that increase the image and standing of the organization for long term financial viability
  • Manage bank account structure, cash management and day to day banking relationships:
  • Analyze and report on investment portfolio strategy, yields and investment instruments;
  • Provide a variety of ad hoc analysis and various iterations of financial modeling
  • Ensure treasury decisions are based on current dato on market prices and external developments
Qualification
  • B.Sc. in Finance or Accounting and a post graduate degree in any business related field
  • Professional membership of ACCA, CPA, ICAN,
  • At least 12 years experience with 7 years treasury/finance experience in foreign exchange and cash management in on International, multi-currency business environment
  • Interest rate swaps, debt instruments and investment management experience SI Knowledge of equity, hybrid or debt investments
  • Capital markets and financial investment securities experience or similar
  • Experience in deal structuring, portfolio management, or stocks and options trade execution; lit Experience In on emerging sector /industry or markets
  • Experience in raising funds on a project finance basis
Job Title: Information Technology Manager (RITM)
Reports to; Head of HR and Administration
Role Responsibilities:
  • Deployment and implementation of enterprise software (ERP or CRM)
  • Manage and ensure effective usage of the company’s ERP, through effective understanding of user requirement and designing system to meet the needs
  • Provide current knowledge and future vision of technology/Industry as it relates to the organization’s line of business
  • Develop and executes the organization’s technology strategy, roadmap and business architecture
  • Prepare budget, financial analysis, estimation and evaluation far all IT initiatives
  • Plan, organize and develop standard for data administration, operation and access rights to ensure
  • Integrity, confidentiality, security and availability at Information.
Qualification:
  • A degree in Information Technology
  • At least 8 years experience
  • Hands on experience in the development and Implementation of IT solutions
  • Project Management Certification
  • CCNA, Microsoft Certified System Engineer and Comptia
  • Knowledge of advanced concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software.
  • Previous experience with business process development in the utility environment preferred
  • Comfortable with managing various operating system including Windows, Linux, and OSX
Job Title: IPP Planning and Power Procurement Manager (KRIPP)
Reports to: Head Power Contracts and Power Procurement

Role Responsibilities:
  • Develop procurement documents and procedures for new generation and associated transmission additions
  • Collect data and forecast on the demand for end use of electricity and to require the licensees to collect such data and forecast
  • Conduct periodic assessments of power supply portfolio risks: communicate risk issues to the executive management. Finance, NERC and Distributors
  • Negotiate with selected bidders to finalize and sign contracts
  • Monitor projects and ensure compliance with construction-stage requirements and milestones.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of power supply portfolio risks and communicates risk issues to the various stakeholders
  • Prepare regulatory filings to the NERC on power procurement and planning activities and results.
  • Participate in regulatory proceedings on market design, market operations and energy planning issues

Qualification
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Law, Engineering or similar degree.
  • Post graduate degree or an M.Sc with relevant professional certifications
  • At least 12 years experience
  • Independent power producer or renewable energies industry experience preferred
  • Skilled in various business and ERP systems to address changing business models
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial structuring of power contracts
  • Power system planning and procurement
  • Experience In supplier management and contract management,
  • Budges forecasting and financial analysis
  • Change management experience
Job Title: Power Contract Manager (KRPCM)
Reports to: Head Power Contracts and Power Procurement
Role Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the set up of systems for measuring contract performance
  • 15 Serve as point of contact with NERC, IPP5, Distributors, the MO and the SO on commercial, planning and market design issues
  • Responsible for establishing efficient internal processes for contract management and ensuring that contract control procedures ore of internationally accepted standards
  • Forecast electricity leads and prices for trading and electricity supply using statistical techniques lit Responsible for implementing end administering portfolio risk metrics, including but not limited to value-at-risk at trading risks and position limits
  • Analyze energy positions and projects from market risk perspective
  • Maintain relationships and trade with the Company’s trading counterparties
  • Provide technical and advanced quantitative methods in support of portfolio optimization, trading and risk & control functions
  • Stress testing and simulations of portfolio profits and losses
  • Support technical and regulatory operations of the firm, including compliance market rules compliance
Qualification:
  • A First degree in Engineering and a post graduate degree in Law, Business related degree or Engineering will be an added advantage
  • At least 12 years relevant experience with 5 years experience within the Power industry
  • Excellent appreciation of trends and advances in corporate finance
  • Experience working with power contracts, power generation, transmission or distribution fields
  • Superior technical knowledge of financial markets, derivatives valuation and/financial services
  • Understanding of regulatory environment and authorities (SEC ond NSE)
  • Knowledge and experience in investment structuring and valuation, portfolio management and exit strategy
  • High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to manage activities that have financial implication
