Assistant Accountant needed in a Medical Technology firm based in Lagos

ERS Nigeria Limited - A medical technology firm seeks a qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location: Lagos
Requirement

At least 2 years relevant experience
Professional qualification is an advantage
Proficiency in the use of MS Office
Comfortable with Accounting Software

Responsibilities

Process company transactions, raise vouchers and record to the company’s accounting software
Carry out reconciliation of all bank accounts periodically
Any other duty that may be assigned by the Head of Accounts;
Manage inventory to ensure adequate control over stock receipts and issues
Develop and maintain the fixed asset register of the company
Responsible for the logical filing of all transaction documents
Liaise with other 3rd parties involved with the normal day to operations such as bankers, vendors, customers etc
Oversee the cash administration (i.e petty cash, I.O.Us staff advances etc)
Prepare the company's financial statements periodically
Over see the accounts payable and receivable management;
