QUALIFICATIONS

Associate-Professor (CONUASS 06)
  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D in relevant field with a minimum of Eight (8) years for (Associate-Professor/Reader) post-doctoral cognate teaching, research and administrative experience plus at least seventeen (17) significant scholarly publications in reputable National and International outlets.
  • Candidates must also show an evidence of significant research direction/supervision at the postgraduate, especially doctoral level.
Senior Lecturer (CONUASSO5)
  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field with a minimum of six (6) years post-doctoral cognate teaching experiences plus at least twelve (12) significant scholarly publications in National and International outlets. Candidates must show an evidence of research direction or supervision at the postgraduate, especially Master Level.
Lecturer I (CONUASS 04)
  • Candidates must possess a good University degree with 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division.
  • Candidates with Ph.D. must have spent a minimum of three (3) years on previous grade plus a minimum of four (4) years scholarly publications.
  • Candidates without Ph.D. must have spent a minimum of five (5) years on previous grade plus a minimum of six (6) evidence of continuing research and publications. Ph.D. is, however, required.
Lecturer II (CONUASS 03)
  • Candidates must possess a good University degree with 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division.
  • Candidates with Ph.D. Degree must have a minimum of three (3) refereed scholarly publications from reputable publishers since becoming Assistant Lecturer. 
Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02)
  • Candidates must possess a good University degree with 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division.
  • Candidates must also possess Master Degree in the relevant field and show a strong evidence of potentials for academic career.
  • Candidates must demonstrate potentials of scholarship.

Professor (CONUASS 07)
  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in relevant field with a minimum of twelve (12) years for (Professor) post-doctoral cognate teaching, research and administrative experience plus at least twenty- one (21) significant peer reviewed scholarly publications in reputable National and International outlets.
  • Candidates must also show an evidence of significant research direction/supervision at the postgraduate, especially doctoral level.
Associate-Professor (CONUASS 06)
  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D in relevant field with a minimum of Eight (8) years for (Associate-Professor/Reader) post-doctoral cognate teaching, research and administrative experience plus at least seventeen (17) significant scholarly publications in reputable National and International outlets.
  • Candidates must also show an evidence of significant research direction/supervision at the postgraduate, especially doctoral level. 
Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 05)
  • Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field with a minimum of six (6) years post-doctoral cognate teaching experiences plus at least twelve (12) significant scholarly publications in National and International outlets. Candidates must show an evidence of research direction or supervision at the postgraduate, especially Master Level.
Lecturer I (CONUASS 04)
  • Candidates must possess a good University degree with 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division
  • Candidates with Ph.D. must have spent a minimum of three (3) years on previous grade plus a minimum of four (4) years scholarly publications.
  • Candidates without Ph.D must have spent a minimum of five (5)years on previous grade plus a minimum of six (6) evidence of continuing research and publications. Ph.D. is, however, required.
Lecturer II (CONUASS 03)
  • Candidates must possess a good University degree with 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division.
  • Candidates with Ph.D Degree must have a minimum of three (3) refereed scholarly publications from repute publishers since becoming Assistant Lecturer.
