ATS Solutions Limited - Our client is an oil and gas EPC consulting company with locations in ABUJA and WARRI looking to recruit  Engineers on a PART-TIME basis to guide and train its young Engineers in various fields of Design.
Job Position: Process Engineer
Location: Abuja or Warri
Job Type: Part-time
Job cycle: Weekends
Job Description

  • Applicant must be currently engaged with industry related company as this is a PART-TIME (Weekends) job which won't require you quitting current job.
Scope:
  • Experience in working independently as a Process Engineer but functionally the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of Process Engineering activities mainly instructing and guiding young Process Engineers in the Oil and Gas industry.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Ability in preparing process design deliverables, such as:
  • Process Simulations
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's) and Heat & Material Balances
  • Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) Line & Equipment Sizing Calculations pipelines, pipes and vessels
  • Process Duty Specifications for Instrument & Equipment Data Sheets Process Studies and Recommendations of Path Forward
  • Supervising and providing technical guidance to fresh and more junior Process Engineers assigned to him and reviewing their work for technical accuracy and adequacy
  • Understands and interpret conceptual and FEED
  • Capable of running simulation with HYSIS software
  • Capable of checking of drawings/sketches for accuracy and completeness
  • Able to develop equipment data sheet; review vendor drawings
Requirements Process Engineer
  • Bachelor's Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in HYSYS simulation software.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Possess communication skills to be able to successful communicate effectively with junior Engineer
  • Must be currently engaged with industry related company as this is a PART-TIME job which won't require quitting existing job

Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer (IER)

  • Block cable diagrams
  • Cable routing drawings
  • Cable and drum schedules
  • Instrument junction box and marshalling wiring drawings
  • Instrument loop drawings
  • Hook-up diagrams and installation details
  • Support construction and commissioning activities both from the home office and on-site
  • Ability to Perform instrumentation P&ID Mechanization
  • Ability to Prepare Instrument data sheet and instrument material take off
  • Ability to Participate in 3D Modeling activities and RAT activities
  • Ability to Prepare technical documentation for instrumentation requisitions
  • Proficient in using instrumentation based software like inTools
Qualification and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of cognate experience in Instrumentation Design
  • University degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or Systems Engineering
  • Understanding of Engineering standard code & Regulations
  • Possess communication skills to be able to successful communicate effectively with junior Engineer.
  • Must be currently engaged of have worked for Instrumentation oriented company
  • Currently works and resides in Abuja or Warri

 Job Title: Civil & Structural Engineer (CSER)

Role and Responsibilities
  • Prepare design specifications for concrete foundation and steel design
  • Set up and execute assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering issues associated with the discipline
  • Prepare SOW and technical documentation for soil investigation contract
  • Develop studies and calculation notes for reinforced concrete, piling works, steel structures(including connection details) and structural concrete/steel buildings
  • Validation and issuance of project geotechnical specifications
  • Structural steel Calculation according to AISC.
  • Structural drawings
  • In-service and Pre-service Analysis
  • Overview of Fixed Platform, Topsides, Substructures and piles
  • Preliminary Sizing of Jackets, Tubular Code Check
  • Offshore and onshore industry related guidelines, codes and regulations
Qualification and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of cognate experience in Engineering Design
  • University degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Understanding of Engineering standard code & Regulations
  • Knowledge in design software as STADPRO/TEKLASAP

Job Title: Piping & Layout Engineer (PLER)

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities
  • Trained in 3D software to be proficient in preparation of 3D Models, auto-generation of MTOs, detection and modification of clashes between piping, equipment and structural members, extraction of 2D drawings from 3D Models and general presentation of projects
  • Check drawings produced by junior Designers.
  • Understanding of Engineering standard code & Regulations
  • Work following applicable codes and standards, design practices and design quality standards
  • Analysis of technical documents (specifications, calculation notes, drawings etc) in order to assess the scope of studies required and potential risks
  • Preparation of General Arrangement drawings, Sections, Elevations, and Details of Flow stations, Jackets, Platforms and decks with specific skills in Steel works and Concrete Arrangement, Connections and Details.
Requirements
The most suitable candidate should;
  • Possess a Minimum of Higher National Diploma / degree in Engineering (or related field) and 5-8 years of related work experience.
  • Have working knowledge of the latest applicable engineering codes and standards, design practices and design quality standards.
  • Have basic understanding of AutoCAD, PDMS.
  • Possess communication skills to be able to successful communicate effectively with junior Engineer
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
