Delta State University recruitment into Non-Academic Staff Vacancies
The Delta State University established by the Delta State University Edict 1998 to encourage the advancement of learning throughout the State and Nigeria at large seeks to engage suitably qualified personnel for the under listed vacant non-academic positions in the University.
Position: Deputy Registrar (CONUSS 14)
Qualification and Experience
- A good honours degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification plus at least nineteen (19) years of relevant post-qualification experience
- Candidates must have served as Principal Assistant Registrar. Principal Assistant Registrars who have served less than four (4) years as Principal Assistant Registrar need not apply.
Position: Deputy Bursar (CONUSS 14) Qualification and Experience - Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy or HND in Accounting as well as being a registered member of ACA or ICAN or ANAN or any equivalent professional body.
- Candidates must also have nineteen (19) years post qualification experience four (4) years of which must have been spent in the Bursary Department as Chief Accountant.
Position: Deputy Director (Works and Services) (CONUSS 14) Qualification and Experience - A B. Eng degree from a recognized university and must be a registered member of COREN.
- Candidates must have nineteen (19) years post qualification experience of which not less than four (4) years must have been spent in a university as Chief Engineer.
Position: Principal Engineer (Physical Planning) (CONUSS 9) Qualification and Experience - A B. Eng (Civil) degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates must have eight (8) years post qualification experience in a reputable institution plus membership of COREN.
Position: Deputy Director (ICT) (CONUSS 14) Qualification and Experience - A university degree in relevant field preferably in Computer Science.
- Candidates must have nineteen (19) years post-qualification experience of which not less than four (4) years must have been spent in a university or similar institution.
Position: Director (University Health Services) (CONUSS15) Qualification and Experience - Candidates must possess MBBS, MBBCH and registered with the Nigerian Medical Council. Practicing medical doctors with less than nineteen (19) years post-registration experience years need not apply.
- Consideration would be given to candidates with university work experience.
Position: Principal Fire Superintendent (CONUSS 9) Qualification and Experience - Candidates must show evidence of rising to equivalent position in the Federal or State Fire Service.
Position: Firemen Grade II (CONUSS 3) Qualification and Experience - Candidates should have credit pass in at least four (4) subject in WAEC or NECO, one of which must be a science subject (i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science). Seminar or training in fire fighting would be an added advantage.
