Job Title: Head, Finance & Administration

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for implementing the companys financial and administrative policies, procedures, and systems as well as ensuring compliance on same. You will also be expected to:

  • Ensure compliance with generally acceptable accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Advise the Management on all financial matters including budget implementation
  • Oversee administration functions including but not limited to procurement, asset management and general office maintenance
Job Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Accounting
  • 3-5 years cognate experience in a similar role
  • Professional qualifications e.g. ICAN/ACCA or an MBA will be an added advantage
  • Good administrative skills
  • Computer literate with good understanding of standard accounting software packages

Job Description

  • To manage operational human resources related issues, including development and communication of policies, training administration, human resources reporting and coordinating in staffing process, remuneration and performance management processes.
Responsibilities

Sales Activities:
  • New business generation
  • Meet sales/gross profit targets in line with dashboard
  • Identify and follow up business leads
  • Write proposals, negotiate fees and rates in line with company policy and comply with approvals
Client Management:
  • Serve clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on success of filling jobs
  • Qualify job specification/ salary information and record accurate and
  • comprehensive job description - check info/ client requirements in line with key processes and legislation
  • Network internally and externally with clients
Job Requirements
  • Degree -qualified in Human Resources Management or any related Social Science discipline
  • 2-3 years prior HR experience
  • Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects
  • Strong project management, time management, and leadership skills
  • Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills
  • Strong research and analysis (quantitative) skills
