Job Title: Marketing Officer/Executive

Role

• Responsible for sourcing businesses and increase the clientele base of the company
• Involve in the development and management of the company various businesses including shipping clearing and forwarding and haulage services

• A good first degree from a reputable institution
• A minimum of 5 years cognate experience in the maritime operations
• Proven track record practical knowledge arid deep operating experience in the maritime section
• Must have current and established relationship with major importers exporters international shipping lines & agents
• Applicants must also be familiar with MS Office automation tools, and enterprise solution packages relevant to their various roles.

• Responsible for repair of plant and equipment,
• Carry out other duties that may be assigned by supervisor from time to time

• A good first degree in Engineering from a reputable university;
• Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience

• Oversee the smooth daily operations of all the warehouses
• Ensures that the daily operations of the warehouses are in line with the set goals of the company

• A good university degree;

• Provides technical expertise for mechanical engineering projects;
• Directs and coordinates activities involved in operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical products and systems;
• Researches and analyzes data;

• Review general project objectives and establish requirements for major power plant projects or major systems;
• Plan, develop, coordinate and direct the analysis and design effort for assigned projects;
• Repair Man Diesel, Iveco trucks and trailers, Mercedes and other specialized heavy equipment.

• Minimum of 15 years professional experience;
• Proven track record in senior supervisory;

• Optimize the transport and logistics capacities of the company;
• Read weight, capacity and tonnage, etc.

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience at management level;

• Ability to work under pressure;
• Conversant with logistics software;
• Focused and organized.
• Ability to use the right modules for specialized weight, tons and dimensions.
• Good knowledge of mechanical engineering & transport logistics.

• Responsible for the overall management of the Company's business in Port Harcourt;
• Liaise with shipping lines/agents and port operators in the region to generate business for the Company;
• Plan and coordinate the operations of the Company in the Port Harcourt region; and
• Provide leadership towards determining and meeting its business objectives.

• Proven track record, practical knowledge and deep operating experience of all aspects of shipping and warehouse management;
• At least 10 years senior management experience in a similar role;
• Ability to persuade and influence others;
• Proactive and result oriented; and
• Must be able to deploy office automation tools to great effect in achieving results.
• Ability to set appropriate targets and be able to surpass targets.

• Lead the organization to determine and meet business objectives in both the short, medium and long terms.

• Minimum of 10 years in a senior executive position in maritime operations; Practical knowledge and deep experience of all aspects of shipping services stated above
• Strong organizational and management skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proven business development and growth expertise; and
• Must be able to deploy office automation tools to great effect in achieving results
• Ability to set appropriate targets and be able to surpass it
• Must be versatile in import and export, air & sea operation, terminal operation & logistics
