Job Purpose
Purpose/Role:
- Take the lead role in all Fabrication and Construction
activities, ensuring that resources, manpower and skills are in place to
deliver project requirements safely, on time, within budget and to the
desired quality standard.

in fabrication management by providing leadership and strategy to the
fabrication and construction group.
Prime Responsibilities and Duties
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Full responsibility for profit & loss for the Fabrication and Construction division.
- Providing clear business plans and strategies for growth.
- Manage the overall fabrication operations by offering technical and commercial leadership
- Responsible operationally to ensure the delivery of:
- Appropriate Quality Management processes and procedures, compliant with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Ensure Fabrication and Construction departments meet all HSSE
and QA/QC regulations and are strictly followed to ensure all employees
are working in a safe environment.
- Ensure all tools are available so that quality, cost and schedule targets can be met.
- Ensure effective resourcing planning is implemented and that
resource skills match current and future resource requirements through
training.
- Able to guide the team of workshop managers, production planning
engineers, supervisors and technicians in process improvement
techniques and continuous improvement programs
- Capable of identifying costs such as indirect, direct, fixed,
variable, capital etc. in order to arrive at actual cost of production
for all processes involved in the fabrication operations in consultation
with Accounts Department so that preparation of estimates for both
internal and external clients can be facilitated.
- Capable of guiding the team in the preparation of tenders.
- Familiar with all aspects of fabrication factory management
including manpower & material planning, process optimization and
adoption of industry best practices etc.
- Review documents relating to production processes, procedures
and policies and amend them as necessary to enhance the overall
efficiency and profitability of the business.
- Acquire, motivate and develop the team including recruitment of
additional personnel and organizing mentoring and job-specific training
in consultation with HR department, ensuring that the Company’s
commitment to National Content Development are met.
- Ensure that the Fabrication division develops maintains and
constantly improves its relationship with key third party
sub-contractors and JV partners as required to deliver the service.
- Defines and elaborates the scope of work for external contracting and in-house execution for all phases of the work.

Requirements
The Person:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years’ experience of
oil and gas multi-discipline fabrication and construction projects
execution. In addition, you must have:
- A minimum of at least 5 years in the position of the full operation of a large fabrication yard.
- Must have significant experience at a senior level within a
medium sized company having delivered to Blue Chip clients or a blue
chip organization with specific accountabilities in integrated
fabrication yard operations and the associated financial and commercial
management of the yard.
- Experience of International based assignments with demonstrable
evidence of being able to mentor other nationals effectively and be
committed to mentoring locals.
- Be able to demonstrate highest delivery standards in management of Quality Assurance and HSE.
- University degree in a related field is essential.

- Notify Material Coordinators of any discrepancies / Non conformances

Job Title: Pipe Fitter Foreman

Prime Responsibilities and Duties
- Reading and interpretation of schematic drawings of pipe
systems, isometric sketches, combination drawings, construction drawings
and isometric view drawings.
- Arrangement and performing pressure testing as specified on the drawings and/or in the pressure test instructions after welding.
- Execution of dimension control on pipe systems and checking if all accessories and fittings in the pipe system are mounted.
- Knowledge of using hoisting tooling and flushing unit knowledge
of pipe system specifications, technical and safety standards is
required
- Capable of using equipment and tools for Pipe fitting, as well as for steel construction in general.

Job Title: Welder

Prime Responsibilities and Duties
- Ability to weld all position of welding such as 3G, 4G, 6G & 6GR on SMAW/FCAW on both plate and pipe.
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
- Welding spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead, etc.;
- Supervising and identifying any fault in operating the equipment
or in relation to any material or equipment, then notifying the
supervisors;
- Clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or
grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements
and create a welded final product;
- Operating other accessory equipments and performing some tasks
necessary for welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas
tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, and other types of welding
arcs;
- Examining finish products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met;
- Being in charge of preparing and setting up necessary tools and
equipments for welding job such as shielded metal arc, gas metal arc or
other welding equipments

- Prepare procurement matrices identifying proposed subcontractors, own works and supply only works.
- Constantly monitor the pre-construction cost of the project and
use this information to make informed decisions required for effective
and efficient control of pre-construction costs.
- Ensure that pre-construction project teams follow commercial processes and do not deviate from these.
- Prepare, issue and manage all subcontractor packages/RFP’s.
- Attend all site meetings and subcontractor site meetings and
prepare and contribute to all commercial aspects required, like tracking
of RFI’s, change orders, delays, claims, etc.
- Identify client change orders, value and issue appropriate variations.
- With the project managers, manage all project procurement of
materials, plant, labour and subcontractors to ensure that adequate cost
monitoring and cost control is maintained.
- Prepare all monthly valuations with both subcontractors and clients and prepare and issue appropriate invoices and payments.
- Prepare monthly cost value reports, working closely with both
project managers and accounting and supply chain departments to ensure
that P&L is correctly allocated.
- Collaborate with and assist estimating team to prepare all
required estimating. Estimating is carried out on proprietary software
