Our Client is a Newly Established Independent Examinations Body based in Lagos and saddled with the responsibility of providing a unified syllabus and conducting qualitative examinations for candidates. The aim of this body is to play a leading role in researching, developing and delivering assessment to Federal, State and private universities as well as interested foreign tertiary institutions.
Always evolving, our Client is currently looking for more professionals, who must be IT literate and compliant, to join its committed team. We’re currently seeking for outstanding result-oriented professionals to fill the following positions:


Position: Senior Test Officers: REF: STO- Subject name (4 Positions)
The Senior Test Officers will develop, commission, moderate, critique, field lest and carry out item analysis on questions in each of the following subjects: Mathematics or Physics: Chemistry; Social Science Subjects and Art Subjects
Qualification:

  • A minimum qualification of a Masters Degree in the relevant Subject
Experience:
  • Applicant must have at least 5 years’ post qualification experience as an Examiner/Moderator for an Examination body, a University system or a relevant department.
Responsibilities
  • Develops, commissions, moderates, critiques, field tests and conducts item analysis in each subject
  • Plans for the conduct of, and administers the Board’s Examinations in various centres across the country
  • Oversees the accreditation and supervision of operations in various Affiliate Centres

Position: Registrar/CEO: REF: REG -01
The overall responsibility of the Registrar is to ensure the successful implementation of the Board’s mandate of conducting credible and standard examinations.
Qualification:
  • A minimum of a PhD, degree in relevant disciplines.
Experience:
  • Applicant must be a Professor with a minimum of 15 years post-PhD, experience, some of which must have been at management level in a University or an examinations body.
Responsibilities
  • Ensures successful implementation of the Board’s mandate of conducting credible and standard examinations.
  • Manages, evaluates and supervises effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the organisation
  • Ensures compliance with all laws. Board policies and civil regulations


Position: Senior IT Officer: REF: SIO
The Senior IT Officer will be responsible for planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions within the organisation.
Qualification:
  • Applicant must have a minimum of a BSC Degree from a recognised institution, with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division. Registration with CPN or other relevant recognised bodies is essential.
Experience:
  • Applicant must have at least 5 years post-qualification experience as a systems analyst in a relevant organisation.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and manages all IT needs, staff, activities, facilities and equipment including: updating websites; managing banks of examination question items databases of candidates, candidates’ results and other related
  • Communicates IT plans, policies and technology trends throughout the organization as well as promotes and oversees relationships Between IT resources and internal and external
  • Develops and maintains enterprise IT policies and procedures to ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information

Position: Senior Accountant: REF: SAC
The Senior Accountant will coordinate and manage the finances and accounts of the Board, superintending over Credit, Salaries & Wages, IT, Treasury, Expenditure Control and other related units.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized institution with minimum of Second Class Lower Division. Professional Qualification such as ICAN, ANAN, ACA, ACCA is essential. A Masters degree in Accounting is an advantage.
Experience:
Applicant must have a minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience of which 5 years must be in a financial leadership role.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and manages finances and accounts of the board.
  • Facilitates and completes monthly close procedures
  • Analyzes revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis

Position: Personal Assistant/Secretary to the Registrar: REF: PA/SEC
The role of Personal Assistant to the Registrar is to provide invaluable clerical and administrative support in order to assist and facilitate the efficient discharge of responsibilities attached to the office of the Registrar.
Qualification:
  • A first degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
Experience:
  • Minimum of four (4) years relevant post qualification experience with at least two years’ experience as a Personal Assistant to a Senior Management position
Responsibilities
  • Organises the Registrar’s meetings, visits, lunches and diaries to ensure effective and productive use of time
  • Prepares routine correspondence and reports on behalf of the Registrar/Chief Executive
  • Attends meetings with the Registrar and acts as Secretary to ensure proper documentation of minutes of the meetings.
  • Liaises with the Directors and Heads of Departments on behalf of the Registrar/chief executive
  • Coordinates to ensure all visitors to the Registrar’s office are properly attended to
  • Prepares and distributes relevant reports or documents to Heads of departments and Directors; follows up on responses and communicates to the Registrar as required

Position: Senior Administrative Officer: REF: SAO
The Senior Administrative Officer will coordinate and supervise administrative duties of the organisation
Qualification:
  • A first degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower
Experience:
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 8 years post-NYSC working experience with at least 3 years in a similar role.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for general administrative functions of the organisation.
  • Maintains administrative staff by orienting, and training employees: maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations: planning, monitoring, and appraising job results: coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides supplies by identifying needs of all departments within the organisation; establishing policies, procedures, and work schedules.


 Position: Security Officer REF: SO
The overall responsibility of the Security officer is to see to the day to day supervision of security in the organisation.
Qualification:
  • A Bachelors Degree from a recognised institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division. Must be a Senior Security Personnel, retired senior police, military or DSS officer.
Experience:
  • Applicant must have at least 7 years’ experience in similar capacity.
Responsibilities
  • Teaches and enforces safety regulations at the work site.
  • Establishes security patrol priorities.
  • Supervises all duties of Security Guards.
  • Reviews utilization and maintenance of security equipment.
