The Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON) is the umbrella professional organization of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians in Nigeria. It was inaugurated in April 1965 and formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a Non-Government Organization in
1999, RC No. 2156. It is an affiliate member of the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) and the African Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AFOG).

SOGON has scheduled to hold its 9th international Scientific Conference, 49th AGM and 50th Anniversary Celebration in Abuja, November 24th - 28th, 2015.

Applications are invited for the position of:

Job Title: Conference Consultant
Location: Abuja
Job Details

• Will be commissioned to raise funds from the general public, including corporate organizations, pharmaceutical and health related companies, international organizations, private foundations etc, through donations, advertisement in conference brochure, product presentation and Exhibition.
• Consultants must show track record of raising funds for similar purpose.
• Consultants will be paid percentage of fund generated based on mutual agreement.

• Consultants are required to recover dues from members across the country.
• Consultants will be paid percentage of fund generated based on mutual agreement.

• Organization will be engaged to provide support in the following areas- Development and operation of conference website, regular communication with members and potential participants, on-line and on-site registration, intra-city transportation, hotel accommodation and other logistic arrangement necessary for a hitch free conference.
• Evidence of successful management of major conferences will be required.
