Job Description

  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and companies.
  • Assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancelations, and other queries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media.
  • Advise on company information.
  • Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes.
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
  • Close out or open call records.
  • Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information.
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
  • Cancel or upgrade accounts.
  • Compile reports on overall customer satisfaction.
  • Handle changes in policies or renewals.
  • Answer questions about products and services.
  • Act as the company gatekeeper.
  • Proffer solutions to customers query.
  • Attempt to persuade customer to reconsider cancellation.
  • Inform customer of new products and services.
  • Sell products and services.
Requirements
  • B.Sc or HND in any discipline.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Good communication skill (Spoken and Written)
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in customer service is an added advantage.
