Job Title: New Media Editor
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience is required.
• At least 1 year working in news or media organizations creating New Media output for African audiences.

• Bachelor’s degree required; communications/journalism preferred
• Experience in video and audio editing will be an added advantage.

• Bachelor's degree in film, television or video production.
• 3-5 years' experience in video and photo editing with other aspects of video production including lighting, shooting, audio, recording/mixing and color corrections
• 5 years' experience of using Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Server, Final Cut Studio, including an understanding of compressions and codecs.

• A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related area
• Product knowledge of TV industry
• 3-5 years of professional experience with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photo shop & illustrator

• Broadcast Journalism degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as sports Anchor/Reporter on English and International Language television
• Experience in producing.

• Bachelor degree or above, communications /journalism / international relations preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in relevant fields.
• Good at doing research and sorting out valuable news from various sources of information.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience is required.
• At least 5 years’ working in news or media organizations creating New Media output for African audiences.
