A leading Oil and Gas Distribution company in West Africa requires the service of experience and dynamic individuals to fill the position below:


The company has several hundreds of retails outlets for the distribution of Refined Petroleum and Gas products. In addition to its storage facilities the company also has Oil blending and gas bottling facilities.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Lubricants

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing the efficiency of specific areas of the business by analyzing market needs, tracking market trends, assessing customer demand and competitive offeringd to identify and define new potential lubricant product and service.
  • Championing new product launches and managing all details, including defining a unique value proposition, and identifying target accounts.
  • Managing growth of Lubricants sales and business development - Industrial/Retail and Reseller sales in assigned territory.
  • Training of Reseller/Distribution/Sub Distribution/Sales Rep./Industrial Clients/Retails Attendants assigned territory.
Qualification and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Social Science or any other relevant field.
  • Risk and financial management High entrepreneurial and customer-centric orientation
  • Ability to handle the pressures of working in a dynamic and result oriented environment.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, selling and communication skills
  • Business/Marketing intelligence.
Experience
  • Minimum of 15 years in the Oil and Gas industry, mainly in Drilling, well site completion and testing operations, with a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Operational Drilling Engineer.
  • Demonstrable understanding of all financial aspects of Drilling Operations, including budgeting, cost forecasting and estimation of service company contract values.
  • handling critical assignment with tangible success.
  • Proven track record handling well design, wellbore construction, drilling rigs and fluids, and well control, with a good understand of Geology.
