Job Title: Business Consultant

Job Description

  • As a Psyntech consultant, you will work on project basis and help clients solve business problems, create value, maximise growth and improve their business performance.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:
  • Availability to work on projects according to the terms of your contract
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.
  • Implementing recommendations/solutions and ensuring the client receives the necessary assistance to carry it all out;
  • Managing projects and programmes;
  • Leading and managing teams
  • Liaising with the client to keep them informed of progress.
  • Executing business development activities
  • Carrying out research and data collection to understand client’s organisation;
  • Running focus groups and facilitating workshops;
  • Preparing and executing business proposals and presentations
  • Identifying issues and forming hypotheses and solutions;
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to clients;
  • Any other activity that may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Experience: 6 years in management consulting or advisory
  • Minimum Degree Required: Master’s degree
  • Preferred Degree: MBA
  • Certifications: Either CFA, ACCA, PMP, Change Management, or other related certifications.
  • Preferred Knowledge: Business Strategy, Organizational Development, E-business, Change Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Human Resources and Business Process Improvement.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and proficiency in the use of project management tools (MS Project, WBS, etc.)
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to quickly absorb and understand business processes
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to business problems.
  • Conversant with technology and its use in the business environment
  • Flexible to new situations and challenges
  • A proven record of success in managing efforts to identify and address client needs:
  • Ability to build, maintain, and utilize networks of client relationships
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Ability to leverage business intelligence tools to support the reporting and monitoring of performance metrics.

  • Conducting industry and client research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvements.

  • Supporting ongoing projects/programs and communicating with stakeholders to ensure smooth program implementation and delivery.
  • Helping the team in program/ project delivery and implementation.
  • Providing support for administrative functions as required
  • Performing financial assessments to support the development of new business processes.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university. Minimum, Second Class Upper (2.1)
