Job Title: Quantity Survey Executive

Location:
Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
  • Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
  • Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Performing risk, value management and cost control
  • Advising on procurement strategy
  • Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
  • Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
  • Allocating work to subcontractors
  • Providing advice on contractual claims
  • Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
  • Valuing completed work and arranging payments
  • Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
  • Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.Any other duties as may be assigned
Qualification & Experience
  • B.Sc/HND in Quantity Surveying.
  • A post graduate degree would be an advantage
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years experience and must have worked as QS for a construction company.

Job Title: Land Survey Executive

Location
: Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plans, organizes, and directs work of one or more survey parties engaged in surveying earth's surface to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, mining or other purposes: Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.
  • Develops new data from photogrammetric records.
  • Determines methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control.
  • Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
  • Coordinates findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with project.
  • Assumes legal responsibility for work and is licensed by state.
  • Oversee a variety of professional assignments to facilitate the completion of roads, building sites, recreational areas or bridges; and the completion of legal descriptions for the taking and marking of right-of-way.
  • Coordinate findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with project.
  • Determine methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing survey control.
  • Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned

Job Title: Architect Executive

Location:
Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
  • Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
  • Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact
  • Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections
  • Compile project specifications
  • Keep within budgets and timelines
  • Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
  • Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
  • Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals
  • Follow architectural trends and advancements
  • Any other duties as may be assigned
  • Submit weekly report to Principal Partner
Qualification & Experience
  • Degree in Architecture
  • A post graduate degree, an advantage
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years cognate experience.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Proven working experience as an architect
  • Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
  • Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
  • Consult with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of structure.
  • Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
  • Plan layout of project.
  • Prepare contract documents for building contractors.
  • Prepare scale drawings.
  • Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
  • Visual awareness and an eye for detail
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to think outside the box.
