Job Descriptions
Job Objectives:

  • The Head, Client Service coordinates the Account Managers who develop the client strategy, hold the relationships and deliver the client objectives.
  • He/She pitches new work alongside the management team by getting the client to understand why it's good for their business.
  • The Head, Client Service is a strategic and disciplined thinker, providing excellent creative briefs when necessary, and assisting in the overall direction and execution of each campaign.
Key Responsibilities
  • Use marketing knowledge to determine the long-term path for the growth of the brands in his/her portfolio
  • Also to develop short and medium term plans, that are in sync with the overall agreed brand strategy
  • Ensures that brand equity of his/her brands continues to grow through the impact of communications with target consumers
  • The Head, Client Service is the primary REPOSITORY of knowledge on all the brands, within his/her portfolio
  • The Head, Client Service ensures that the Agency is in the lead role with clients and accounts are efficiently managed
  • The Head, Client Service manages inter-functional relationship, and stimulate all internal agency partners for great ideas to be generated on a CONTINUOUS and CONSISTENT basis
  • The Head, Client Service ensures that profitability and growth is maintained on all accounts in his/her portfolio.
  • Ensures that brands within the account portfolio are consistently taking the lead and are being renewed through continuously fresh creative thinking, resulting in impactful campaigns that gets talked about.
  • Ensures high quality of briefing and documentation by the Account Managers
  • Develops and articulates Account Agendas and Brand Agendas
  • Initiates and leads quarterly brand reviews, internally and externally, ensures annual brand plans are developed & shared with clients
Accountability
The performance of the Account Manager will be judged on the following bases:
