Job Description

• Real Estate Company with Head Office in Lagos and Branches spread all over Nigeria has vacancy for a high profile and qualified Engineer to fill the position of a Civil/Structural Engineer.
• This position will deal with the technical resource of company in designing, operation and civil engineering requirements in a variety of projects and having an understanding of the structural systems.
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of building codes and regulatory requirements when handling a project.
• The job holder will be responsible for Planning, designing and directing engineering projects on buildings, mechanical and highways. S/He will in addition to preparing workable design drawings of roadway projects also serve as Resident Engineer on major construction projects and supervise department Engineers.

• Possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering;
• Professional Engineer - License Structural Engineer;
• Experienced in commercial and industrial construction projects;
• Excellent Oral/Written Communication skills to positively represent the company;
• Orgnaized documentation and record retention capability;
• Be able to effectively present information to contractors, employees, government agency personnel and the general public;
• Be registered with the Nigerian Society of Engineers/COREN;
• Should have knowledge of AutoCAd, 3D design and BIM as well as the latest structural design software
• Be between the ages of 43 and 45years;
• Be self motivated with ability to deliver projects in a timely and quality manner.
• Must be knowledgeable of geotechnical conditions and able to provide analysis on various foundation designs;
• Have 15 years minimum related experience at supervisory level as well as equivalent continuous training;
• Have ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from contractors, regulatory agencies, or other engineers;
• Have ability to read, analyze and interpret common engineering,technical,financial and legal reports;
