Facilities Manager Job in a Conglomerate based in Lagos

Manager. The Facilities Manager will have responsibility for facilities maintenance and management of real estate complexes and equipment.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Assess the current condition and maintain electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment.
• Direct and plan essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling etc.
• Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise Ground maintenance and horticulture
• Create a schedule for regular evaluation of the facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems of the estate
• Ensure utilities bill are paid promptly.
• Develop a system for clearing, repair and maintenance of facilities.
• Ensure the safety of the building or establishment against fire, flood and other hazards. Coordinate as necessary with other offices and units of the Company.
• Liaise with tenants of commercial properties

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other relevant field.
• Male candidate.
• Mid 30s to Late 40s.
• Professional certificate in Facilities Management.

• Minimum of 8 years experience in facilities maintenance and management in real estate complexes or blocks of apartment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
