It is responsible for West Africa and has more than 20 countries within its market including Senegal, Ghana and Cameroun.

We are currently looking to help our client fill the following roles.


Job Title:   Category Manager - PTPCM-05

 
Key Roles and Responsibilities
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
  • Execute the company’s business strategy in specific product categories
  • Maximise deployment of the company's portfolio with the Customers
  • Coordinate cross-functional and/or cross-organisational efforts whenever necessary
  • Actively manage relations within customers’ marketing team
  • Manage day-to-day marketing activities with the customers
  • Maximise return on marketing investments for the customer
  • Drive concept selling
  • Develop marketing plans together with the customers
  • Execute joint marketing and monitor deviations, suggest corrective actions
Job Attributes
Qualifications
  • University degree Marketing or Business Administration. Fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
  • At least 4 - 5 year experience in FMCG Industry Brands & Product portfolio Management Good understanding of modern retail.
  • To succeed in this position you should have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to continuously improve the way we deliver value to our customers. Be flexible and able to adapt to new cultures and environment.

  • The ideal candidate must be masters degree qualified in any field relevant to business and marketing development, 
  • with 12-15 years of relevant experience;

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Growth
Required to drive sales in line with agreed targets. Identify the opportunities to increase customer profitability for a sustainable and profitable mutual growth.
Budgeting and Planning
Participate in the budgeting process to define the annual sales budget and medium targets for the areas of responsibility.
Customer Management
Develop, at different levels, a transverse relationship with the customer and ensure strategic alignment. Understand the customer activity (competitive environment, growth strategy, productivity, profitability). Identify the customer needs and drive opportunities in agreement with the processing sales strategy.
Strategy Execution
Develop and execute the local strategies for the food categories, cosmetic and E &D
Drive productivity
Utilise the mandatory global processes and tools

Job Attributes
Qualifications
  • Bsc. Mechanical Engineering or Bachelors Degree in a business related field
  • Masters in Business Administration
  • Computer Literate.
  • Minimum of 5 years food processing experience, 3 of which would be in a sales leadership position
