Job Title: Baker
Reports To: Production Manager
Responsible For: Has no Subordinates
Job Purpose: To produce a variety of confectionery including packaging and decoration. These include Bread, Cakes, Small Chops, Snacks, Cookies, Chin-Chin, Chocolate Candies, Cake pops, etc.

Essential Results:

1. Bake, Decorate and Package all products for sale.
2. Maintain a clean and healthy workspace.
3. Supervise and train interns in the production department.
4. Assist with repairs, fixing, re-building and re-creating fallen, damaged, recycled or new work structures/ equipment at the Bakery.
5. Run Delivery and purchase errands when required.

Level of Education Required: A primary School leaving Certificate is minimal but candidate must have adequate training and experience in Baking. Candidate must read, write, speak clearly, have physical strength, be humble, malleable and can multi task on various activities at once.

Special Certification/Licenses:
Culinary school or Bakery certificate from any food/hospitality institute; or ability to demonstrate adequate, practical knowledge of food products and services.

Environment: Some outdoor work, high temperatures, extended work hours/nocturnal work times.

Personal Attributes: Experience working in a food handling environment.

Work hours: 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday including all Public Holidays.

Years Of experience: Minimum of 2 years.

Critical Competencies: Initiative, food research, trend awareness, Humility, willing to work hard and under a lot of pressure, prioritizing efficiently and time management skills.



Job Title: Sales Assistant
Reports To: Sales Manager
Responsible For: Has no subordinates
Job Purpose:

1. Handle purchase orders for all Bakery’s products.
2. Manage supply chain for all Bakery’s products.
3. Keep and maintain sales records for all Bakery’s products.
4. Handle customer feedback and consumer deliveries for all Bakery’s products.

Essential Results:

1. Be successful with target sales performance for Bakery’s products.
2. Achieve daily supply routines on target market.
3. Handle deliveries and service feedback on all supplies/ purchases.
4. Competent book keeping of sales records.

Level of Education Required:
SSCE diploma/ certificate. Candidate must read, write, speak clearly, drive a vehicle and have computer/software manipulation knowledge.

Special Certifications/Licenses Required: None

How many years of experience should the person have: 6 months – 1 year

Critical Skills: Initiative, benefits negotiation, sales, book keeping, computer management, driving, humility, presentation, willingness to work hard under a lot of pressure, including time management skills.

Environmental Issues Involved:
May experience high temperatures as job is mainly outdoors.

Personal Attributes: Extrovert and sociable with an ability to forge and manage new relationships daily.

Work Hours: 5am – 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays including all Public Holidays.



Job Title: Cleaner
Reports to: Administrative & Operations Officer
Responsible for: Has no subordinates
Job Purpose:
Clean work environment, run errands (purchase and delivery) outside office environment, assist in production of Bakery’s products and assist with maintenance routines for Bakery’s assets.

Essential Results:

1. Maintain a clean and healthy work space by sweeping, mopping, gardening, wiping, dusting, scrubbing and washing.
2. Run purchase and delivery errands for the Operations/ Administrative Department by delivering products to customers, documents/Items to vendors and purchasing required goods for inventory.
3. Handle maintenance routines for all business assets by helping with repairs, fixing, re-building, and re-creating fallen, damaged or new work structures/equipment.

What level of education is required to do the job? A primary school leaving certificate is minimal if the candidate is exposed beyond their immediate environment. Can read, write, speak clearly, has physical strength, humble, malleable, and can multitask on various activities at once.

What special certifications or licenses would help? HSE, Logistics and any maintenance training certification.

How many years of experience should the person have? 1 month – 1 year.

What competencies are critical? Initiative, humility, willing to work hard and under a lot of pressure, including prioritizing and managing his time well.

Are there any environmental issues involved? Some outdoor work hence may experience high temperatures on duty.

What personal attributes would be considered an asset? Experience working in a food handling environment.

Work Hours: 7am – 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays including all Public Holidays.





Job Title: Cake Decorator
Reports To: Production Manager
Responsible For: Has no Subordinates
Job Purpose: 
To produce a variety of confectionery including packaging and decoration. These include Bread, Cakes, Small Chops, Snacks, Cookies, Chin-Chin, Chocolate Candies, Cake pops, etc.

Culinary school or Bakery certificate from any food/hospitality institute; or ability to demonstrate adequate, practical knowledge of decorating and creating amazing confectionery.

Environment:
Extended work hours/nocturnal work times.

Experience working in a food handling environment.
