Job Role:  Sales & Marketing Supervisor

Role Profile
Our client is looking for a Sales & Marketing Supervisor who will proactively seek out and maximise all revenue opportunities across all market segments of account portfolio to meet and exceed revenue targets, and contribute to the achievement of revenue targets - individual, team and department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Account Management:
Responsible for negotiation at all levels and the maintenance and development of corporate agreements.
Responsible for completing all requests for proposals to the highest standards demonstrating analytical understanding of statistics and formatted in the most advantageous way to IAL Nigeria Limited acquiring/retaining the business.
Establish network of contacts throughout all corporate accounts
Demonstrate commercial acumen through implementation of financially aware incentive agreements using a productivity performance as measurement.
Identify major opportunities to increase sales within existing portfolio.

Sales:
Responsible for achieving sales targets, product development and growth.
Identify new markets and customers for IAL services
Ensure strict usage of CRM for all sales activity processes
Develop local sales strategies, guide and support sales team to increase penetration and thereby enhance market share
Facilitate annual sales review meetings
Conduct weekly / monthly sales performance meeting with sales team & BDMs
Provide post-sales support to all existing and new Clients

Marketing:
Enhance the consumer relationship and increase brand awareness through advertising, industry events, and web
Ensure consistency of brand messaging and communication throughout all customer and consumer touch points
Assist in developing and implementing an integrated marketing communication strategies across multiple channels
Manage, write and design communication to inform customers of changes to products and services

Proactive:
Proactively seek out new business/new revenue streams to achieve agreed targets
Initiate, formulate and implement a proactive sales and marketing plan to maximise all opportunities within existing and new account base to an agreed budget
Acquire and feedback market intelligence on competitor activity
Collate all feedback on IAL Nigeria Limited operations and product.
Create and implement a territory call cycle to ensure maximum exposure to client base whilst demonstrating a sound knowledge of time management and the law of diminishing returns.
Maximise all revenue opportunities, throughout the individual account portfolio.
Responsible for demonstrating customer service orientation at all times.

Relationship Building:
Build strong, professional relationships within the client base to facilitate the development of all revenue opportunities
Establish relationships which foster creative and flexible solutions on both sides
Establish productive relationship dealings with other industry segments and professional organisations to increase revenue opportunities/growth
Responsible for presenting IAL Nigeria Limited in a positive and enthusiastic way at all times

Professional Expertise:
Actively stay abreast of all developments in the Freighting and Logistics industry
Responsible for presenting the company’s product offering creatively to a high professional standard

Teamwork:
Ensure proactive and effective communication with all departments which impact on the clients in the account portfolio

Administration and Analysis:
· Responsible for writing any specific reports on market conditions requested by management
· Generating Daily, Weekly and Monthly sales reports and submitting the same to HODs

Qualification & Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years external field sales experience.
BSc Business Administration/Marketing
Ability to work proactively, strong numerical and analytical skills.
Strong negotiation, presentation and account management skills.
Technological competence in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Experience in Shipping and Logistics will be an added advantage

Personal Attribute
Creativity in presenting, marketing and events.
Willingness to travel
Good relationship building and interpersonal skills





Job Role:  Sales & Marketing Officer

Role Profile
Our client is looking for a Sales & Marketing Officer who will be responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of service delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Sales:
Research best practice and monitor competitor activity
Develop and maintain a customer database
Generate and qualify leads
Source and develop client referrals
Prepare sales proposals, action plans and schedules
Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
Plan and conduct direct marketing activities
Make sales calls to new and existing clients.
Develop and make presentations of company services to current and potential clients
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person

Revenue Generation:
Work with the sales team to identify revenue and profit opportunities through analysis – corporate and individual initiatives
Develop and implement account management plans which ensure maximum revenue
Support the building of a pipeline of potential customers and develop through the sales cycle
Support quarterly key account reviews which maximise the win-win opportunity demonstrating commercial acumen and integrating both market share and revenue targets

Marketing:
Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing services
Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
Determine and manage the marketing budget
Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget

Time management:
Complete weekly/ monthly/quarterly reports in a timely manner
Support the maintenance of account plans
Ensure the completion of proposals to the highest possible standard within customer timeframes
Support efforts to address issues/problems which exist within the customer portfolio.
Keep sales database tools up to date

Communication:

Develop relationships within the corporate network and maintain a profile within this group of contacts
Develop a high level of market knowledge through research and analysis and ensure that this is shared across the team and within the organisation
Ensure proactive and effective communication with all departments that impact the customer base.

Qualification & Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years external field sales experience.
BSc Business Administration/Marketing
Understanding of business to business selling preferred
Concise presentation skills
Experience in Shipping and Logistics will be an added advantage
