Job Title: NDT (AUT) Operator
Job description
- Perform
the NDT activities following NDT supervisor and NDT interpreter
instructions, ensuring that safety requirements are adopted and
satisfied
- Take care about maintenance of NDT equipment in use
- The
Operator executes the activities within his area of responsibility,
ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements. Tasks
include:
- Carry out the required NDT inspection (either RT
or AUT), following the instruction of the direct responsible and
following the safety instructions
- Carry out physical operational checks on the NDT equipment
- Conduct maintenance of the equipment and replacement of mechanical parts, under the supervision of the direct responsible
- Carry
out AUT as AUT scanner operator, taking care about all the operations
on the pipe (calibration, AUT band positioning, scanner positioning on
the pipe and inspection)
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience as AUT operator
- Knowledge of English language both written and spoken
