Responsibility
- The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University. He
shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the management of the
finances of the University.
- Applicants for the post of Bursar must have in the past
exhibited considerable degree of competence, responsiveness,
demonstrable integrity and transparency on matters of financial resource
management. Applicant must be in good health and able to endure the
rigours of the duties of the Bursar.
- Also, candidates must be found to possess the following
qualities: vision, proven academic distinction, managerial ability,
integrity and transparency in private and public life.
- In addition, candidates should have the ability to develop
linkages with the external communities to support the emerging needs of

- Candidate must possess a good honours Degree, (B.Sc Accounting)
from a recognized University, and must be a full member of a recognized
professional accounting body such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, ACMA and CPA plus a
minimum of Fifteen (15) years cognate experience, at least Three (3) of
which must have been spent as a Deputy Bursar in a University, or any
other tertiary Institutions.
- Candidate should not exceed 55 years of age on appointment.

Job Title: Librarian
Location: Benin
Responsibility
The University Librarian is the Head and Officer in charge of the
University Library who shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for
the administration of the University Library and co-ordinate all Library
services in the University and its campuses, Colleges, Faculties,
Department, Institutes and other teaching or research units.
Qualification and Experience
- Candidate for the Post of the University Librarian must possess a
good honours Degree in Library Science from a recognized University and
have membership of relevant professional bodies, A higher Degree will
be an added advantage.
- Interested candidate should possess at least Fifteen (15) years
post-qualification experience with adequate publications in reputable
National and International journals.
- He/she must possess adequate leadership experience as well as high degree of competence, integrity and dependability.
- The person must be computer literate.

Job Title: Registrar
Location: Benin
Responsibility
- The Registrar is a Principal Officer and the Chief
Administrative Officer of the University. He is also the Secretary to
both the Senate and Governing Council.
- The Registrar shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day running of the University.
- The person who will be Registrar. given the complexity and
scientific nature of administrative processes of 21st century
University, must not only be a goal-getter, but must also be able to
show drive, exceptional initiative, great ability for institutional
networking with the outside world and must have a suave mien that
typifies a 21st century world class university.
Qualification and Experience
- A good Honours Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized
University and must have a minimum of Fifteen (15) years cognate
experience in a university or any other tertiary institutions, out of
which Five (5) years must have been spent in a position not less than
Deputy Registrar in a tertiary institution.
- The possession of a Higher Degree as well as membership of
relevant professional bodies are added advantages. Candidates should not
exceed 55 years of age on appointment.

Job Title: Director of Works
Location: Benin
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance and care of the University
Estate, rehabilitation of existing facilities including roads, water,
electricity, vehicles, equipment and furniture in academic
administration and residential areas, ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Responsible for co-ordination and control of the activities of
the Works and Maintenance Department and providing professional and
community services.
- Carrying out other duties as may be assigned by the Vice- Chancellor.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Degree in Engineering from a recognized University.
- Candidates must have Fifteen (15) years working experience in

Job Title: Director of Physical Planning

Requirements
- Candidates must possess good Honours Degree in
Architecture/Quantity Surveying/Building/Town planning with at least
Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized University.
- Candidates must be registered with ARCON/QSRBN/CORBON/TOPREC and
have at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification cognate experience
in a University or an Institution of comparable status, eight of which
must have been in a senior management position.
- Possession of a higher degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Director of Health Services
Location: Benin
Requirements
- Candidates for this position must possess requisite medical
qualification, i.e. MBBS or MBCHB and be registered with the Medical and
Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) plus a Master's Degree or Fellowship
in Public Health or related clinical discipline.
- He/she must, in addition, have at least Fifteen (15) years
post-qualification cognate experience in the Health Services of a
University or equivalent Institution with substantial involvement in the
administration of the Health Services.
- The Director of Health Services is a management position in the
University and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day
administration and Management of Health facilities in the University.

Job Description
- The person to be appointed must have a proven record of

- Above all, he/she must possess good human relation and the best
attribute of a leader and effective manager; he/she will be responsible

Requirements
- Candidates should possesses a good Honours Degree from a recognized University coupled with a Certificate in Security Training.
- He should have at least 14 (Fourteen) years cognate experience in Security Service.
- Candidates must have attained the rank of not less than Chief
Superintendent of Police or its equivalent in any of the Armed Forces.
- Experience in any comparable institution will be of advantage.
Job Title: Director of Audit
Location: Benin
Responsibility
- Overseer/Coordinator of the Internal Audit Department.
- Ensuring prudence and accountability in the finance system.
- Safe guarding the assets of the institution. Preparing and
maintaining University fixed assets register and making periodic
reports.
- Carrying out other duties as may be assigned by the Vice- Chancellor.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good first Degree in any of the
following: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or
any other relevant discipline with a minimum of Second Class lower, a
higher Degree in relevant discipline is an added advantage. He should
possess any of the following recognized professional qualifications:
ACA, ACMA, CPA, ACCA, ICAN or ANAN
- In addition, candidates must have acquired a minimum of Fifteen (15) years post professional qualification cognate experience.
