Prevail Broadcasting Studio, a state-of the-art Broadcasting Studio in the heart at Abuja, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below: Job Title: Consultant/Studio Manager Location: Abuja Job Summary

  • The Consultant Studio Manager is to manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the studio by overseeing all filming, recording.
  • Liasing with content owners, creation and production of news materials including oversight of the editing process
  • All output of the studio must meet the high quality standards set by the company.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage a fully functioning broadcast (audio/video) studio facilities
  • Design and deliver a competitive ratings and revenue growth strategy in the marketplace.
  • Manage a diverse operational team of talented professionals: Camera men, Editors, Sound Engineers e.t.c, towards ensuring maximum productivity.
  • Optimize core business opportunities in addition to new media platforms
Education/Experience
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/film or the equivalent.
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in television or Radio Broadcast/Production with a reputable media organisation.
  • Experience in advising corporate clients on how to configure a studio environment to best suit the needs of the program.
  • Should have demonstrated success in a leading sales-driven organization and developing revenue streams across multiple media platforms.
  • Membership of relevant professional body. and must have proven leadership experience and operational leadership experience in the broadcast industry (Individuals with higher Degrees and professional/international certifications will be given preference)
  • Experience in producing a range of corporate video or managing client webcasts/webinars.
  • Experience in pre and post production of video content, including extensive experience with final cut pro, Adobe Premier Pro. After Effects, Pro Tools, etc.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be able to interact well with all staff.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal. written, and analytical skills.
  • Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations.
  • An Innovative team leader, versatile in Multimedia.
