An Indigenous Cosmetic Manufacturing company, with Head Office in Lagos State, requires the services of a young and vibrant candidate to fill the position below: Job Title: Marketing Manager Location: Lagos Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Sales Team with regards to taking new products to market
  • Design national and regional promotions and campaigns with an objective of improving brand adoption and top of mind awareness amongst target audience
  • Oversee the implementation of the company’s marketing strategy — including campaigns; advertisement; events; digital marketing and public relations
  • Oversee the collation of market and industry business intelligence to support product development and effective decision making
  • Researching and evaluating new product opportunities; demand for potential products; and customer needs and insights
  • Develop overall marketing strategy and execution of plans for the existing products
  • Serve as a partner to finance and product development in determining the viability of potential markets before production of a product with no business case or strategy prepared in advance
  • Working with product development teams to manage. new product development
  • Managing distribution channels for products
  • Ensuring effective, branded marketing communications including the company’s website’ print communication and advertising
  • Managing media and marketing staff and external PR agencies
  • Analyse the effectiveness of all marketing efforts including their contribution to the effectiveness of Sales Campaigns
  • As a brand guardian, to maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications
  • Manage the entire process of bringing new products to market including product definition: initial pricing; internal process workflow; system needs; technical training and communications
  • Manage a portfolio of products particularly slow moving products
Requirements Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any Other Social Science Courses
  • Masters in Business Administration or Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience:
  • At least 10 years of progressively more responsible positions in marketing, preferably in an FMCG firm
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Characteristics:

  • Ability to coordinate the efforts of a large team of diverse creative employees.
  • Ability to lead in an environment of constant change.
  • Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written communication, website development, market research, product packaging, Microsoft software suite of products, visual communication software products, and creative services,
  • Experienced in advising product teams about potential markets, desirable product features, go-to-market best practices, and measuring the success of outreach and product sales.
  • Experienced in managing external PR and communication consulting firms and contractors.
  • Good appreciation of the Internet and Social Media - like Facebook. Twitter, and other social media outlets that are significant in the company’s outreach drive.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in holding conversations with customers, customer evangelism, and customer-focused product development and outreach.
Age:
  • Between 35years - 45years
Job Title: Cost Accountant Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
  • Providing a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
  • Ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget
  • Offering professional judgment on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
  • Interpreting and communicating financial data to non financial managers
  • Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context.
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed
  • Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
  • Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, ensure prompt payment
  • Informing key strategic decisions and formulating business strategies
  • Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
  • Analyzing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts
  • Negotiating on major projects, loans and grants
Requirements Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Must be Chartered in Accounting.
Experience:
  • At least 10 years of progressively more responsible positions in Accounts & Finance, preferably in an FMCG Firm
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Characteristics:
  • In-depth working knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in a Manufacturing Organization
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
  • Strong Time Management Skills with the ability to work in an environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Must be willing and able to provide new ideas and challenge current thinking
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Able to work both independently and as a team player
