We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Sales Manager (m/f), Power Plants Location: Lagos Reference Number: 51348670 Tasks

  • Build customer relationship Born prospecting to closing within the assigned sales region
  • Identify, new prospects as well as development opportunities
  • Ensure customer inquiries/orders/complaints are promptly and satisfactorily handled
  • Develop and maintain relationship with consortium partners, suppliers and internal departments
  • Manage professional cooperation within the company’s regional setup as well as with the support organizations in Central Europe
  • Prepare, negotiate and approve contracts for orders obtained within given directives
  • Achieve performance goals
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, oversee the sales budget
  • Collect & communicate market intelligence/competitors activities
Qualifications
  • A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background
  • Detailed understanding of the power generation business as well as experience in contacting with EPCs knowledge of hiotors, Generators, Power Plants as an advantage
  • Results driven, ability to develop and retain key business and customer relationship
  • Strong networker, engaging, well introduced to the local market and within
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative and proactive approach combined with follow-up skills
  • Sound interpersonal, presentation as well as intercultural skills and understanding
  • Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards, high integrity
  • Sales/Marketing experience with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in terms of heavy equipment projects
  • Demonstrated sales success with complex sales in developed countries
  • Excellent skills set referring to contract negotiation, design and legal assessment of terms and conditions. project management at the most senior level of customer
  • Assertive, self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well within a team
  • Fluency in English language, French as a. plus
