Job Descriptions: • Maintain accounting records by making copies; filing documents. • Reconcile bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger. • Maintain accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups. • Verify financial reports by running performance analysis software program. • Determine value of depreciable assets by running depreciation software program. • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. • Control credit and ensure debtors pay on time. • Reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts. • Ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate. • Preparation of statutory accounts. • Collection and lodgment of cheques. • Working with journals, sales & purchase ledgers and spreadsheets. • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. • Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
