  • Collects marine life
  • Perform standard tests on water samples to determine water content using modern test equipments
  • Observes appearance and actions of developing fish to detect diseases and add medication to food and water
  • Sort fishes according to size, coloring and species and transfer fingerlings to rearing areas
  • Drain and clean ponds, tanks and troughs and remove debris, predators, etc
  • Insemination, filling hatchery trays with eggs and process including to discard dead, infertile or off-colour eggs, produce fingerlings, etc
  • Count and weigh fish, record field data and prepares hatchery activities
  • Select marketable marine life, etc.
Requirements
  • HND or University degree plus minimum of 2 years working experience
  • Knowledge of mobile fish farm technology will be an advantage

  • Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
  • Develop, maintain and analyze budget and prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs
  • Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries
  • Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, amortization and depreciation schedules and other financial reports
  • Maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability and other financial activities
  • Project future revenues and expenses; Analyze operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred
  • Develop, implement, modify and document budgeting cost, general property and tax accounting systems
  • Advice management about resource utilization and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
Requirements
  • HND or University degree in Accounting or numeric discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years cognate experience

  • Determine best and most economical procedure/method to cut wood
  • Convert wood into designated shapes, forms and sizes
  • Investigate and adopt methods of turning waste wood materials into useful products
  • Conduct test to determine stability, strength, hardness and crystallinity of wood under variety of conditions
  • Evaluate and improve effectiveness of industrial equipment and production process for wood
  • Develop and improve method of preserving and treating wood with substances to increase resistance to wear, fungi and infestations
  • Determine best types of wood for specific applications including analyzing physical, chemical and biological properties of wood
Requirements
  • Experience in wood construction and cabinet making
  • Fluency of ideas, Originality and ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Minimum of NABTEB, WASC, NECO or its equivalent
  • Candidates must be resident in Abia or Lagos State and/or willing to relocate
