  • Candidates who will be responsible for the supervision of the daily operations of the Fleet Maintenance department within the designated area along with ensuring that all Fleet equipment is maintained in a safe and serviceable manner.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee activities with regards to the acquisition, repair and preventive maintenance and replacement of fleet to meet company’s logistics needs
  • Follow up with finance to ensure updated and adequate vehicle documents
  • Develop and implement risk management systems for fleet management
  • Liaise with finance/internal audit to ensure adequate control and monitoring of fuel usage- usage and records
  • Coordinate the procurement and management of vehicle space
  • Coordinate all activities in the dispatch of items- requisition, planning, scheduling, reconciliation with regards to operational requirements
  • Implement and monitor efficient car tracking solutions
  • Oversee all dispatch processing and handover activities ensuring documentation- proof of delivery, stock dispatch notes, goods received notes etc.
  • Oversee conduct of trainings for drivers
  • Investigate and resolve all incidences of missing, incomplete/damaged stock/equipment/items during dispatch
Skills and Competencies:

Education and Experience
  • First degree in any discipline
  • At least 4 years hands on experience at supervisor level in a commercial environment with a large amount of stock level
  • Knowledge of commercial transport logistics will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Lagos environment, routes, traffic

Responsibilities

      Job Title: Drop Ship Specialist - Intern Location: Lagos Slots: 500 Job Description
  • We are  recruiting Drop Ship Specialist Interns to join the team to manage and track all Team dropship and at once orders.
  • This includes: sku creation, order placement, order tracking, order delivery, ship confirming, and vendor relations.
  • The Drop Ship Specialist will also serve as an operational liaison between merchandising, vendors, and service providers
  • This person is responsible for day-to-day drop shipment issue resolution, reporting on vendor compliance with SLA policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain vendor list and vendor catalog resources with current vendor information including: contact information, discount levels, websites, links, etc.
  • Create and modify skus. Confirm accurate order entry of drop shipped orders into controller.
  • Accurate placement of orders directly with vendors using correct shipping address and FO numbers.
  • Manage open orders report as it relates to drop shipped orders.
  • Follow-up with vendors and sales reps to obtain and communicate order confirmations and tracking information on all drop shipped orders. Enter tracking details into Workhorse on decorated drop ship orders.
  • Effectively communicate any issues or delays with Team reps and customization department.
  • Effectively and openly communicate with Team and Retail buyers.
  • Serve as main point of contact for team sales staff regarding drop ship customer service questions.
Education and Experience
  • HND/Bachelor's Degree
  • Understanding of retail landscape, operational systems and functionality
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in Drop Ship or e-Commerce operations department
  • Minimum of 2 years in retail or B2C role.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to complete relevant paperwork.
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and business judgment.
