Ensure proper day to day running of operations
Manage activities of associates
Handle and oversee external/internal customer complaints
Oversee company trainings
Report to COO directly on a daily/weekly/monthly basis about the status of company operations, strategy and business development

Prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Perform financial statement analysis and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations to assist management with business decisions
Ensure invoices are paid and accurately recorded
Direct report to the Chief Financial Officer
Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned
Partner with cross functional business partners to manage and improve existing processes.
Prepare monthly financial close
Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3-8 years of professional experience
Knowledge of local tax remittances
Excellent communication skills
Tech-savvy
Detail oriented and organized
Experience in Accounting, finance, business operations, or management consulting
ACCA, CPA, or ICAN certified
Financial modelling
Prior experience working at startup is a plus
Experience with Quickbooks/Xero Accounting Software or another large scale ERP is a plus
