  • We are hereby offering a unique opportunity for young Nigerian graduates to kick start their careers by enrolling in our Technical Trainee Programme.
  • Frigoglass Technical Trainee Programme is an intensive 12-month Technical Training in Glass production aimed at developing and mentoring new glass experts.
Requirements
  • First Degree or HND in Engineering (specifically in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering)
  • Minimum of Second Class Division
  • Must have completed NYSC
  • Maximum age of 27 years.
    Job Title: Plant Maintenance/Production Engineer Location: Nigeria Reports to: Plant Manager Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate all Plant maintenance activities in various sub-sections
  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities and ensure adherence to maintenance schedule
  • Monitor stock level of spare parts and materials used for maintenance and liaise with Technical Manager to originate either local or foreign orders for replenishment.
  • Follow up and report progress of Plant maintenance activities.
  • Assist with preparation of sectional budget and ensure its effective implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering
  • 12-15 years cognate experience in a managerial position in a major manufacturing company.

      Job Title: Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer (Plastics, Glass & Crown Corks) Location: Nigeria Reports to: Plant Manager Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate day to day activities of the Electrical/Instrumentation section
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance activities in the Electrical/Instrumentation Section
  • Prepare the departments yearly budget and ensure implementation of the approved funds
  • Ensure constant review and implementation of departmental SOPs
  • Manage installation, testing, calibration and commissioning of electrical/instrumentation equipment
  • Liaise with third party contractors to provide effective and qualitative service.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • At least 10 years relevant experience in a similar position in the Manufacturing industries
  • Experience in AUTOCAD.

      Job Title: Mould Maintenance Engineer Location: Nigeria Reports to: Forming Manager Responsibilities
  • Prepare production plan for approval and circulate job change schedules to all concerned
  • Ensure mould preparation at all times meet production requirements
  • Inspect mould drawings in line with Customers specification and advise mould maker on desirable modification(s) where necessary, producing drawings reflecting changes
  • Prepare monthly mould status reports and advise management on requisition for replacement.

      Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Nigeria Reports to: Technical Service Manager Responsibilities
  • Consistent monitoring of the equipment and machine operations
  • Implementation of planned periodic preventive maintenance on all the processing machines and equipment
  • Prepare maintenance schedule and provide required equipment
  • Ensure all newly supplied machines and equipment are properly inspected, certified and installed before being commissioned
  • Produce specifications for designs
  • Evaluate engineering approaches and risks to produce development plans
  • Analyze, design, develop and maintain products.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Specialization in Auto will be an added advantage
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years work experience in commercial soda lime silicate glass plant
  • Must have experience maintaining high powered heavy duty Generators and Air Compressors
  • Must be familiar with maintenance of pay loaders and forklifts.

      Job Title: Supply Chain Professional Location: Nigeria Reports to: Nigeria Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire process in planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities
  • Responsible for introducing process improvements in supply chain and identify new vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors that facilitate smooth flow of services to Frigoglass operations
  • Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with the Frigoglass Procurement Manual, Financial, Regulatory bodies and other relevant Organizational Directives and Administrative Instructions.
  • Participate in preparation of annual business plan.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in one of the fields of Logistics, Accounting, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Geography and Business Administration
  • Must be good in using ERP software and other inventory packages
  • 8-10 years experience in similar function.

      Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager Location: Nigeria Reports to: Nigeria Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities
  • Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews
  • Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring system effectiveness and to enable sound product quality decisions
  • Keep abreast of changes to quality regulations and guidelines, advising the management team of any business implications of these changes.
  • Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures
  • Coordinate and perform all vendor qualification and compliance audits
  • Develop, manage and maintain a compliant document control system

      Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Nigeria Reports to: Technical Manager Responsibilities
  • Assist with consistent monitoring of equipment and machine operations to reduce machine down time
  • Assist with implementation of planned periodic preventive maintenance on all the processing machines and equipment to achieve at least 90% machine efficiency
  • Prepare the daily and monthly checklist on machines in the Punch Press, Welding and Fabrication and Automobile Workshop
  • Maintain machine performance record and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on all machines and other equipment to avoid major breakdown and monitor spare parts usage.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience in similar capacity.

      Job Title: Printing Professional Location: Nigeria Reports to: Plant Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of scheduled printing so as to ensure compliance and uniformity with the agreed time frames, product quality, and efficiency
  • Manage the printing resources (peoples and equipment) to optimize the printing capacity and improve productivity
  • Coordinate the printing phases (e.g. printing, screen printing, final assembly etc.) and materials provision in order to ensure smooth & appropriate daily operation in terms of capacity and quality
  • Monitor the housekeeping of the facilities in order to secure quality, increase in efficiency, improve productivity and ensure healthy & safe working conditions
  • Design and follow up with implementation of training programs for the department to secure diffusion of technical know-how within the plant.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Printing Technology or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years in bottle decorating/screen making conditions.
