Job Title: Capital Market Analyst

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description
We are currently recruiting to fill the position of Capital Market Analyst in our firm. The candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Collect and analyze stock market data.
  • Carry out valuation, pricing, and regulatory aspects of any Capital Market transaction as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Develop presentation slides for the company’s weekly investment meeting.
  • Monitor and mark-to-market the company’s proprietary trading account.
  • Track company results and updates.
  • Analyse stocks and make trade recommendations.
  • Manage company proprietary stock portfolio.
  • Handle client complaints and address them.
  • Offer support for research analyses and activities to other departments and the subsidiaries of the company.
  • Deal on behalf of the company in its primary and supplemental market marking functions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Applicants must have at least a good Bachelor's Degree and solid IT skills.
  • Being an SEC-registered Individual will be an advantage but not compulsory.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Diligent and proactive.
  • Respectful of deadlines.
  • Candidates should be less than 30 years old with 2-3 years’ experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office such as Excel, Word & Teams is very essential.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Strong numeric skills
  • Excellent communicator both orally and written.
