Job Title: Drafting Supervisor

Location: Lagos / Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
Functionally Reports to: Construction Manager / Engineering & Operation Manager
Contract Type: Fixed term of One (1) year (renewable)

Job Summary

• An Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Maintenance(EPCM) services provider, operating within the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector, is looking to engage a Drafting Supervisor, who will provides supervision, technical mentoring, development and performance accountability for the team. Ensure that strong customer service focus and technical sales support are provided by the drafting team
• Ensures all drawings are in accordance with the standards set by Company Quality System
• Interfaces with construction team and provide updates, adjustments as necessary
• Is capable to handle multiple projects and tasks with high attention to detail
• Has strong team-oriented skills with the ability to also work independently and meet deadlines
• Plans, assigns and reviews the work of drafters and other employees working on CAD tasks
• Analyzes and reviews drawings and plans to ensure quality of work and project feasibility
• Provides CAD technical support and develops solutions for all application problems
• Ensures Company drafting standard is adhered to on all drawings and improve the standard continually

Requirements

• 5-7 years experience in the supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of drafting methods and tools
• Time management skills
