Job Title: Educational Consultant
Location: Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • You will be required to spearhead the Ondo School Project - involving establishment of a college in Ondo State.

The Monthly Milestones
First Month:

  • Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment within Ondo State to identify key educational gaps and opportunities in innovation.
  • Initiate discussions and establish partnerships with at least 3 relevant industry leaders, 2 research institutions, and 1 governmental body to support the college's initiatives.
  • Begin drafting a comprehensive business plan for the college, ensuring alignment with at least 2 accreditation standards.

Second Month:

  • Finalize the needs assessment report, outlining identified gaps and opportunities in innovation education within Ondo State.
  • Develop a preliminary plan for infrastructure development, focusing on meeting accreditation standards for facilities and resources.
  • Submit initial accreditation applications to at least 2 relevant accrediting bodies, demonstrating alignment with accreditation standards and requirements.
  • Complete the draft proposals for at least 3 curriculum frameworks and academic programs, ensuring they meet accreditation criteria and local needs.
  • Finalize the comprehensive business plan, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with at least 2 accreditation standards.

Third Month:

  • Commence recruitment efforts for at least 5 qualified faculty members with expertise in innovation, ensuring they meet initial accreditation requirements.
  • Create an initial marketing plan to raise awareness about the college, highlighting accreditation aspirations and targeting at least 5 key stakeholders.
  • Design an evaluation model for ongoing evaluation and improvement of academic programs and teaching practices.
  • Develop initial policies and initiatives to promote inclusivity and diversity within the college community, aligning with early accreditation standards.
  • Hold preliminary discussions and undertake preparatory actions for accreditation, ensuring that all necessary groundwork is in place for a successful accreditation process.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess PhDs / Doctorates with relevant experience.
