We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fiber Engineer
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Install fibre optic cables and establish fibre optic networks.
• Splice and terminate fiber optic cables.
• Troubleshoot network for swift resolution.
• Responsible for creating and updating documentation and as constructed drawings of the fiber network using design software, database software and other technical tools.
• Resolve fibreoptics issues and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Performing fibre opticconnection inspections and optimisation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology / Civil Engineering or a related field required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in fiber optic infrastructure.
• Fiber network operations and analysis.
• Network troubleshooting and service interruption response including managing fiber repair and re-rerouting services.
• Project management techniques and coordination procedures.
• Contract administration principles and practices.
• Presentation formats and procedures.
• General engineering designs and practices.
• Industry practices and trends.
• Security and protection of critical IT infrastructure, including hardware and software.
• Database management, specifically use of fiber network database tools.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
