Job Title: Grant Writer

Location: Remote or Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Research, identify and pursue grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and programs.
• Develop compelling grant proposals, grant applications, and funding requests.
• Manage multiple grant applications simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Maintain multiple grant applications simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Maintain organized records of grant applications, correspondence, and reporting requirements
• Study and comprehend program objectives, activities and budgetary requirements to effectively communicate them in grant proposals.
• Demonstrate strong research skills to gather relevant information and statistics for proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline
• Proven experience in grant writing and proposal development
• Proficiency in written communication with attention to detail
• Added Advantage
• Familiarity with general population and underrepresented communities in respect to health, economic empowerment and human rights interventions.
• Ability to comprehend complex program objectives and funding requirements
• Strong research skills with knowledge of various information sources
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities
