Job Title: HR / Admin Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are a corporate services firm that renders company secretarial/legal advisory/human resources & governance consulting services on an outsourced basis; looking to hire a young, smart and self-motivated HR/Admin Officer who will join the team in providing qualitative and innovative services to our esteemed clients.
  • Our ideal candidate must be very confident, trustworthy, reliable, confident, very well-organized with experience in Administrative and Human Resources services.

Job Description

  • Conducting recruitment/exit interviews and recording them accordingly.
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new staff.
  • Reviewing & updating job descriptions for all positions regularly.
  • Communicating and explaining the organization's HR policies to the employees
  • Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates/ attendance as per the requirement in consultation with the management
  • Handling all employee enquiries & grievances.
  • Dispute settlements according to labor law, Factory rules & compliance guidelines.
  • Handling monthly payroll and yearly forms for employees.
  • Liaising with all government agencies to ensure adherence to compliance laws and regulations
  • Follow up on confirmation records statutory obligations - taxes, Pension, bonus etc.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc in Human Resources or any related course.
  • Must have completed the NYSC programme.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as an HR Assistant.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of HRIS tools is an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel), PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Professional Certification in Human Resources e.g CIPM, CIPD,APHRi is required

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint etc
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated a strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels within the agency, maturity and discretion.
