Is it right to use hand written signature on Cover Letters?

Here's a my response to this question asked by a job seeker


Hi Jobzilla,


Great job is it that you are doing, Please keep up the good works. 

May i inquire, when applying for a job,  is it right to print out a cover letter and append ones signature on it, scan(pdf) and send as an attachment along with the resume.

Have been doing this, i want to know if it is the right thing. Your guidance and advice will  be much appreciated.

Hi Kenny,

You have done well. Kudos for going the extra mile of appending your signature and scanning your cover letter before sending it out to potential employers. It's the most professional thing to do.
However, a Closing such as "Sincerely, Kenny" is also acceptable by many employers.
