Job Title: Customer Relationship Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are looking for a Customer Relationship Manager to create and nurture long-term relationships with customers. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure customers are satisfied with our services.
  • The customer relationship manager, along with the marketing unit would play an integral part in providing and maintaining exceptional customer experiences and customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key employees among customers
  • Create plans to address clients’ business needs
  • Advise clients on creating profitable processes
  • Liaise with other departments and entities to ensure a smooth operation and achievement of the marketing strategies and Group goals.
  • Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
  • Set revenue targets and work diligently to meet them
  • Collaborate with finance to address customers’ needs
  • Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure they are satisfied
  • Act as a point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate

Requirements

  • B.Sc / B.A in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Client Relations Resource or Relationship Manager with a minimum of 3 years cognate experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
  • A customer-oriented attitude

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Nigeria

Summary

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Officer to assist in our financial department. The Account Officer will be responsible for keeping financial records up-to-date, checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.

Job Description

  • Work closely with the administrative officers for each business entity to collate and reconcile financial reports for each entity
  • Maintenance of daily records of cash requests made by staff
  • Preparation of necessary financial reports monthly
  • Ensure compliance to the provision of structure for internal accounting procedures
  • Collate and submit all offices and business entities budgets for approval and processing
  • Ensure all disbursed funds are retired accordingly
  • Participation in strategy planning meetings
  • Maintain digital and physical records of invoices and contracts

Requirements

  • A HND / Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Job Description

  • Develop research work plans according to project needs.
  • Identify potential grantees and build strong relationships with them.
  • Develop grant proposals and assist in grant completion and submission processes.
  • Perform day-to-day supervision of research staff for assigned projects.

Job Title: Group Executive Director of Finance & Strategy

Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Group Executive Director - Finance and Strategy, with strong numerical skills to drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance
  • He / She will oversee all Group’s financial activities to ensure it stays in strong financial standing.
  • Your main duties include building revenue reports, distributing calculated funds to various departments, and implementing company financial policies as well as making high-level decisions regarding a business’s health, leaving details for the finance and accounting departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures, and set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Work with the GED Administration and GED Operations to develop, implement, and execute profitable strategies for the growth of the Group
  • Report directly to the Group Chairman on all matters of importance, and participate in expansion projects across the Groups (funding options, investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
  • Proffer professional and strategic solutions to bottlenecks and hurdles that may affect the smooth operation of the Group's activities.
  • Drive the financial planning of the Group by analyzing its performance and risks
  • Retain constant awareness of the Group’s financial position and act to prevent problems
  • Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors, etc.)
  • Oversee all audit and internal control operations
  • Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
  • Recommend cost-reducing solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices, financial modeling, and business model canvas.
  • At least 7 years experience
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • B.Sc / B.A in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, and an MSc./MBA/MA in same field is a prerequisite.

Job Title: Compliance Officer

Summary

  • We are looking to hire an experienced Compliance Officer on financial and regulatory matters who will manage the regulatory and compliance operations of the Group, maintain policies and procedures, ensure compliance to tax matters.

Job Description

  • Engage and ensure full automation of all regulatory reports
  • Control duties such as preparations of reports, required by regulatory authorities and other stakeholders
  • Perform sensitivity and forecast and highlight areas of possible non-compliance of statutory issues.
  • Regular capital management planning and forecasting. Ensure optimization of capital structure and appropriate mix of tier I and II capital while monitoring capital adequacy levels of Jamis Bank
  • Manage compliance with tax laws and all tax & levies aspects including transfer pricing, withholding taxes, indirect taxes, PAYE, and tax planning.
  • Preparation of monthly and annual taxation computations and returns
  • Review monthly deferred taxation calculations/ reconciliations.
  • New and existing product/service evaluation to determine taxation impact.
  • Liaise with Tax Consultants on tax-related matters including tax planning.
  • Liaison with Nigerian Revenue Authority on all matters relating to taxation.
  • Responsible for the tax side of budgets and forecasts.
  • Review and sign off all tax-related reconciliation accounts prepared monthly e.g. PAYE, WHT, etc.
  • Implement and manage an effective Financial and regulatory compliance program.
  • Develop and review the different business policies and Group’s standing.
  • Advise management on the Group’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
  • Assess Group operations to determine compliance risk.
  • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
  • Resolve employee concerns about Financial compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years proven experience in a compliance officer role.
  • Good knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and procedures.

Job Title: Banking Compliance Officer

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • The Bank Compliance Officer would be required to stay up-to-date on changes in governmental and financial laws and regulations. In addition, the bank compliance officer must continually evaluate the bank’s policies and procedures to makes sure they are not in violation of state or federal laws.
  • It is the responsibility of the bank compliance officer to ensure that everyone working in a financial institution is adhering to all state and federal laws and regulations
  • Liaise with senior managers to ensure proper implementation of established compliance policies
  • Review internal bank policies to ensure they align with external banking regulations
  • Conduct research to identify new regulations passed by state or federal governing bodies
  • Monitor client financial activities to ensure they are legal and in compliance with internal and external bank policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to forward compliance issues for investigation
  • Initiate or recommend an investigative process in response to complaints of policy or a procedural violation

  • The incumbent’s responsibilities include identifying suppliers, maintaining positive supplier relations, approving purchases, evaluating supply options, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
