Job Title: Data Analyst
Department: Technical Department
Job Purpose:To
assist exploration team in acquiring, manipulating and managing their
electronic and physical data so that they have accurate data in a timely
and effective manner.
Main Activities and ResponsibilitiesMud logging,
· Interpretations of Well Logs basic
· Support all Data Management processes and procedures to ensure quality, consistency, documentation and capture of synergies
· Promotes and facilitates the capture of knowledge/information into the Master data base
· Promotes and facilitates the capture of knowledge/information into the Master data base
· Ensures data input and manipulation are consistent with proper spheroid/datum/projections
· Coordinates routine formatting, loading, and transfer of data
· Perform routine/non-routine data loading and transfers.
· Ensures data entered into project database is quality controlled and reconciled
· Ensures that all project data is maintained in the project directory spaces (not home directories)
· Manages project disk usage and disk space needs
·
Identify discrepancies between data in project database and corporate
database; request changes to corporate database to resolve these
differences
· Ensures all types of data and information are captured,
documented, and archived at established milestones in the project
according to established standards
· Ensures project databases are backed up according to established standards.

Minimum
B.Eng (Minimum second Class lower), HND (Minimum Lower Credit) from a
reputable university, either in Geology, Mining, Geology& Mining or
other related course
Job Title: DRILLING AND COMPLETIONS ENGINEER
Position description - Purpose1.
To carry out the technical design and put together a programme for
thesafe drilling and completion of wells assigned to his rig to approved
standards.
2. To monitor the progress of work on his assigned rig
and to give real-time advice and support to the Senior Engineer on
operations and other matters affecting the performance of the rig.
Position description – Accountabilities1. Demonstrate a high commitment to HSE.
2.
Carry out well design which includes, casing design and selection,
drill fluids, torque and drag, well control, drill string using the
appropriate well engineering design software.
3. Prepare the drilling and completion programs, and obtain approvals from relevant authorities.
4. Monitor the progress of drilling and completion operations and report critical issues to the Senior Engineer.
5.
Implement change control procedures to ensure that changes to
procedures either planned or unplanned have the necessary level of
technical authority approval.
6. Manage the personnel logistics and expedite materials and equipment to and from the rig.
7. Promptly process the contractor invoice for jobs rendered.
9. Manage the interfaces between CWI, Well Construction, Production Operations and the Development Teams.
10.
Manage the service contractors to ensure that high quality services are
provided in accordance with their respective contracts
Experience and Qualifications required1.
A professional engineer in possession of a degree or equivalent
qualification in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
2. A
minimum of 5 years experience in Drilling and Completion of wells with
minimum of 2 years as a Night Drilling Supervisor on the rig.
3. Good supervisory skills, with sound knowledge of well control techniques and drilling operations practices
4.
Good analytical, communication and writing skills, with PC fluency and
familiarity with drilling engineering software. Conversant with relevant
software (Well Plan for Windows, Compass especially)
5. Proficient in English language, both in speech and in writing.
6. In possession of a valid IWCF certificates or equivalent.
Job Title: Production Engineer
Job Description To
provide technical support in production operations in the assigned
fields in OML-42 by applying sound petroleum engineering knowledge,
skills and best industry practices to maximize oil and gas production.
Contributing to wells and facility production activities in the warri
operation office and in the field.
Main activities and Responsibilities
- Routinely monitor daily well performance, identify changing well conditions and provide recommendations to optimize production
- Maintain up-to-date well models and possess the ability to model
changing well conditions and be able to provide recommendations for
production improvement
- Develop and maintain an up to date records of wells pertinent data and performance history in areas of assignment
- Lead the well surveillance process to identify and carry out
production improvement opportunities on wells, facilities, and
operations.
- Identify workover/recompletion, stimulation, artificial lift, and compression candidates for production optimization.
- Generate AFEs, cost estimates, and procedures for workovers/recompletions.
- Design, implement and optimize artificial lift systems for
horizontal and vertical wells with various producing depths and fluid
types.
- Provide production engineering support for new well designs and operation.
- Recommend modifications and/or investments to upgrade operations facility systems to reduce operating costs.
- Lead periodic wells reviews with reservoir engineers, geologists, and field personnel.
- Collaborate with production engineers in Lagos to maintain
representative integrated production model of assigned fields,
reservoirs and wells
- Routinely review shut-in wells to ascertain causes of shut-in and proffer solutions to restoring well back on production
- Develop procedures for intervention and slick line activities and
ensure contractors adhere to safe procedures and practices and within
approved budget
- Design and follow through MER testing and other well testing operations
- Assist with preparation of annual budget
- Monitor and discuss the the performance of installed well production
equipment (xmas tree valves, SC-SSSV, chokes, actuators etc.) and plan
intervention when required
- Conduct HSE and technical pre-qualification/mobilization inspection of contractor equipments
- Analyse metering requirement and carry out performance analysis of
installed production metering equipment to ensure they meet industry
minimum standard and statutory compliance
- Must have prior experience in work over design and production
optimization, and ongoing production and maintenance operations
activities
- A university degree in petroleum, mechanical or chemical engineering
or closely related disciplines, with minimum of 2 years relevant
experience in an oil producing environment.
Job Title: Senior Drilling Engineer
