Job Title: Operations Manager (Engineering Services)

Location: Abia
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee engineering / technical operations in the company.
  • Coordination and management of engineering projects (offshore and onshore)
  • Interface with several specialized engineering companies to ensure that maintenance jobs are carried out with high level of safety and professionalism.
  • Oversee tendering processes to ensure successful outcomes (Technical & Commercial).
  • Provide feedback on customer requirements, product/executed project performance as well as effectiveness of measures taken in response to clients’ technical queries.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business while ensuring compliance to company‘s QMS, HSE and Corporate policies and procedures.
  • Providing technical expertise on OEM’s products and their applications.
  • Review and verify project documents for completeness and compliance with contract requirements while ensuring that requisite reports are prepared, and pertinent records are maintained.
  • Maintaining the metering system of the company for maximum reliability in deployment for clients’ services, ensuring adequate inventory of the items required for metering maintenance and calibration, in order to ensure continuous operation of the metering system.
  • Coordinate various technical contracts to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Maintain records of calibration, changes / modifications, test equipment certificates, flow calculation checks e.t.c, for audit purpose.
  • Coordination of engineering deliverables in project, extensive regular contact with assigned project clients, competent for flow calibration using small volume provers, calibration of various compact provers and pipe provers and calibration of various meter types.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • First Degree in Engineering discipline or any other related field from reputable institution.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience
  • Professional membership (COREN, NSE) is an added advantage
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience as Engineering Manager or Operations Manager or related position is essential.
  • Team management and leadership skills.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering related discipline is an added advantage
  • Experience in oil and gas servicing company is very essential
  • Solid knowledge of oil and gas procedures, standards and regulations
