National University Commission - The Implementation Committee of the
Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for Innovation and Development
(PRESSID) is pleased to announce the names of the successful candidates
for the award of scholarships for the 2015/2016 academic session.
As part of efforts to develop a critical mass of professionals who would
serve as catalysts of change and agents of scientific and
technological advancement, as well as sustainable economic development,
the Federal Government instituted the Presidential Special Scholarship
Scheme for Innovation and Development (PRESSID) to sponsor outstanding
students for postgraduate studies in the top100 universities in the
world.
The Scheme, which sponsors graduates that have obtained first class
honours degrees from any recognised and approved university, was
established in January 2012 and has awarded a total of two hundred and
five (205) Scholarships under two editions (the 2013/2014 and 2014/ 2015
academic sessions).
The PRESSID Implementation Committee, on 8th September 2014, invited
qualified candidates to apply for the third edition (2015/2016 academic
session) and is therefore pleased to announce the names of the
successful candidates for the award of scholarships for the 2015/2016
academic session.

The successful candidates would be invited to Abuja for initial briefing
at a date that would be communicated to them directly. They would be
