Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical & Development Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description

• Development of technical plans for subsurface drilling and extraction.
• Advice on evaluation of wells’ potential and forecast results based on technical data and analysis.
• Provide expertise support for projects; for the design and coordination of subsurface projects, hands-on technical services, studies, and working with the broader technical and commercial teams to identify commercially viable areas of investment on the asset.
• Production forecasting, reserves assessment and estimations provision of general technical services expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Physical sciences, etc. MSc degree desirable
• Experience of wide range of projects, including field appraisal, reservoir management, development planning and operations.
• Working knowledge of key disciplines including geology, geophysics drilling, reservoir engineering, surface facility, production operations, and economics and well completions.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in similar role with an operator, preferably with experience in Exploration or New Ventures.
• Experienced with both exploration and development of upstream oil and gas activities.
